Forgot to mention that it serves 6, so the count is for per serving. But, if you think about it, you can have 2 servings for less calories and fat than the original.
I also like to have a small dish of finely chopped almonds on the side to roll my dipped fruit into.

You know, it's odd ... one of the things that made me the saddest about starting to eat healthy is that I knew I'd have to say goodbye to my fondue parties--but now I think I'll have one with my weight loss support group!!! Thanks so much!
--BUT ... are the calories for the whole batch? If so, that's AWESOME!!!

This is great party dish or dessert with some angel food cake or fresh fruit.

In a medium saucepan, combine the milk and cocoa. Cook, stirring frequently, over low heat for 5 minutes, or until the mixture is smooth and hot. Stir in the vanilla.
This version only has 196 calories and 0 grams of fat compared to the original fondue which has 433 calories and 33 grams of fat.
