| yeah the cals in Chinese food is such a bummer, especially since thats one of my favorite types of food. its amazing how many cals and fat they can squeeze in there.

Sweet and Sour Tofu Recipe By : Pillsbury Fast and Healthy Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Asian Fatfree Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 10.5 oz pkg firm lite tofu 1 teaspoon cornstarch 1 medium green bell pepper, seeded, -- cut in squares 1/2 large onion, cut into 8 wedges 8 ounces can pineapple chunks in unsweetened -- juice 9 ounces jar sweet and sour sauce 4 cups hot cooked rice Cut tofu into small bite-sized cubes; toss with cornstarch. Spray large nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat over medium-high heat until hot. Add tofu; cook 5 to 8 minutes or until golden brown. Place tofu on plate. Add bell pepper, onion, and pineapple with juice to same skillet. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 7 to 10 minutes or unti onion is soft and liquid has been reduced. Add cooked tofu and sweet nd sour sauce, stir gently to mix. Cover; cook 1 minute or until thickened and bubbly. Serve over hot cooked rice. Makes 4 servings: per serv, 330 cal, 1g fat, 0 mg chol, 200mg sod.

| Yeah, I had some sweet and sour tofu the other day, came home and looked it up, and ZOIKS! I had no idea...so, you could also say, "Wow! I feel so informed now..." Maybe?

| Chinese for luncn ruined me. 1200 calories in 4oz of sweet and sour chicken! 1300 calories over my limit. I feel like a fat cow!
