When I got ready to try on Maggie Sottero gowns, I checked their size chart- and yikes! My hips said I was a size 16, my waist said I was a 10, and my bust said I was an 8. So with a range of 8-16, know which size fit me PERFECTLY? The 8! Which made me feel a lot better. The bottom half doesnt matter as much when it's covered up, hehe. =) The dress I am buying (a Monique Luo) is a more "true-to-life" sizing deal, and mine is a 6... which is insane because I have NEVER worn a 6 in ANYTHING. Yayy!

| I found mine to be pretty close to size, too.. The dress I ended up getting was only one size larger than my "Street size" at the time. Maybe designers are finally catching on that the one time NOT to make sizes big is when a woman is a bride!! ;)

I was also told that they run small. Usually if you are an 8 you would need a 10 or something.
I fit into smaller dress sizes or the ones that I was used to just like you...

Before I went to try on dresses a lot of people told me not to be alarmed because they run so small. But when I went to try on dresses (a few different places), I fit in to the size I normally wear perfectly, and could even fit into a size smaller.
Has this happened to anyone else? How much of a difference in sizing, if any, did you have?
