I will definately check out the website for your wedding!!! My guys are also wearing black and my girls are wearing pink and unfortunately we are unable to add brown to the dress without ruining it.. but I am still toying witht he idea. Good luck with all the wedding plans and if you think of anything else feel free to give me a shout.

I'm getting married in August '07 and my colors are lite citrus green and chocolate brown. My guys are wearing brown tuxes from Jims Formal Wear and the dresses are citrus green with a chocolate sash. I am just doing ivory linens ate the reception (1/2 the cost of colored) but I am putting in a couple of brown, for the bars and carving stations. The napkins will be a mix of the two colors.I am decorating with pics (new and older) of myself and Brian and putting those in chocolate frames. My hall is entirely white so I think these colors will pop! the brown is really the understated color, so that is how I am using it, but I think you will definitely know that it is there. You could use brown in the bouquets or in the "wrapping" of the flowers of you are having the stems show.

I saw in a bridal magazine where someone had put truffles into cheap champagne flutes then tied them with chocolate colored ribbons and sealed them with a monogram label in chocolate colors. It looked great! They had put one at each place setting. I also saw where someone had used brown roses in their centerpieces. Or, use lots of chocolate ribbon to dress up the chairs/centerpieces. You could also opt for ivory linens and accent with chocolate napkins, table runners etc. Your invitations/programs/place cards could be done in your colors, too. There's lots of ways to add in your colors! Try looking at some of the popular websites for inspiration, too. (weddingchannel.com, theknot.com, brides.com or the better homes and gardens or martha stewart weddings have some great ideas, too)

You could have the groomens wear chocolate ties & vest with tuxes, have a chocolate cake, have every other table have the chocolate color linens, what are the bridesmaids dressing like can they add chocolate color sashs/ribbon to them,if you are having a flower girl and ring bearer have them wear chocolate brown color dress and suit, add the chocolate color to your flowers, invitations, etc. Hopefully this was helpful for you.

I'm getting married on July 7th, 2007 and really starting to feel the crunch. I chose pink and chocolate brown for my wedding colours and I am having some problems thinking of how to decorate or tie the brown into the theme. My bridesmaids are wearing pink and I am wearing ivory. Please offer any suggestions if you have them!!!
Thanks,
Tena
