| A corset would deffinatley get my vote - Nothing makes that hour glass shape like a good corset! Not to mention they are so hot when the wedding night comes!

| try spanx. they are kind of expensive, IMO, but they are awesome! i got mine at nordstrom's. i think you can order them online too. good luck!

| you can probably get a nice one at a good lingerie store if you have any in your area....talk to the salespeople there, they ought to be able to help you

| a girdle is very much like a corset, primarily goes just around the waist..nowadays they are often an elastic material.....basically it's another type of sucking-in thingy you can get

| I don't know about girdles, but you should check out David's Bridal... they have a lot of stuff that you could probably try on before you buy it to make sure it's right for you. Me? I am going with a corset.
