| Thanks everyone! I went to the Portland Bridal Show last weekend...overwhelming to say the least! Lots of good info & ideas, just so many people!

| I agree with PP. It is ok to be a little stressed. Just create a list and as you start to mark down you'll feel as though you are accomplishing something and making big strides. Get the major things out of the way...invitations, catering, photography, dress and everything else will fall into place. Good luck

| If you end up in September (you should choose soon in order to get the venue you want!) come and join September 2007 Brides! We are a super supportive SparkTeam and are at all stages of planning!

| Don't worry, its ok to freak out a little. I have days where I feel like I've got it all under control, other days I get caught up in everything there is to do, planning, weight loss, school stuff, graduation, etc. and it gets to me. The important part is to be organized and take it one day at a time. Also I've found delegation to be a great thing, I just have to let go of some stuff and let my mom or future mother in law take care of it.

| dont stress...you are getting on it now, which is good. all you really need tow orry about is getting the location and the reception site....quickly if you havent already cause places are booking up fast. and order your dress, so it will for sure be here....it all seems like so much to do but once you get those major things its a walk in the park until may or so....and then you got to get on the littler things...i would also try and get your photographer and dj if you will have one sooner than later....once you have those things done you are set....it seems like a lot...my suggestion is to find a place that will allow you to have both the wedding and reception and that will do most of the work for you! j

| Don't freak out. It all works out. It's really overwhelming, and I was completely unprepared for it. Everything (location, budget, caterer, flowers, dress, etc) works out perfectly.

| So, I just got engaged last weekend. We're tentatively planning an August/September 2007 wedding. I feel so rushed and frazzled already! Shouldn't this kind of stress happen a few months down the road? We don't want a big elaborate ceremony/reception, but I still feel so stressed!! Anyone out there feel the same or have some tips or anything?
