| I am an April bride. I have certainly been working hard the past few months at cutting out my booze intake, watching my diet and maintaining a consistent work out plan -- in hopes to lose some weight and fit into my dress come my wedding day in April. And I am feeling great so far! Yay!

I haven't done a whole lot honestly. I have pigged out too much for my own liking. I am with LA Weight Loss for the emotional support. Because I have IBS I need to eat certain things that don't irritate my tummy. So I have cut back on the pasta, and have been eating more chicken (love my chicken) and fish (tilapia, sole, or tuna). Yes, the canned stuff....makes for great tuna melts. It took me a good year or so to take off the 48 pounds. People are seeing the difference and think I don't need to lose another 24 pounds, although when one is to wed in May and look beautiful....I want to be below 200. Thing is I am tall and have an athletic build to me, not that I am athletic, and people think that I am not fat. Although I still feel it a bit.
I didn't exercise much either. Not a big gym fan. Did that for a full year, didn't care for the gym. From time to time, I have done aqua aerobics, climbed stairs instead of taking the elevator, belly dancing.
Keep on truckin....given I can't really absorb my food well....it's possible. Thanks for dropping me a line!

Congrats! I know what you mean. I want to lose the weight quickly even though I haven't had my fittings yet. I have lost some 48 pounds from the university crappy eating and feel better right now. It's just that last 20 pounds that is hard to lose.
P.s. you look somewhat like an old friend of mine.....perhaps a long lost twin! :)

Well, i am an October Bride, but i need to buy my dress by May or June, so i would love it if i could join too! I have been struggling with monivation to get my big butt off the couch and do something. The diet part i am okay with, but the working out- that is another story. Last night i did my Pilates DVD and felt so good afterwards.I am hoping to get to the gym this week, or next week.
I know the longer i wait, the harder it will be, but i guess i am just lazy :(

I am a May bride. I have about another ~24 pounds to go or so to lose. I have lost about 48 pounds already, however have fluctuate here and there - - do to many emotional rides and loses.
I am definitely in for and giving motivation!!
