| We're going a little cheapish on the flowers, we're using mini red carnations (my fi's fraternity flower), peachy-pink spray roses (3 blooms for the cost of 1 stem!), and babys breath. I'm paying less than my cousin did and I'm getting a lot more flowers (she used ALL white roses), and bigger bouquets! :)
| I'm planning to use white-ish hydrangeas for my bouquet. My BMs will have smaller bouquets of pink hydrangeas.

| I can't make up my mind - I would love either just a couple simple blue ires bound together with a yellow ribbon or my future-husband loves hydranga, or option number 3 would be using sage, lavender, rosmary and other herbs and making a herb-inspired bouquet. Well, there is still time untill July07

| I will be using white and raspberry Orchids for my bouquet...bridesmaids with have a mix of dendro orchids, roses, and stargazer lilies in shades of pink, ivory, and dusty yellow....centerpieces are dendro orchids and cherry blossoms, and everything else will be roses!

Yakkodot your bouquet sounds gorgeous, I'd love to see a picture!
I'd really love orchids in my bouquet, or I'm thinking of have some asian-inspired elements so something that would suit that would be good. I adore cherry blossoms, so maybe something with some of them thrown in (I'm guessing they'd have to be fake!)

| I am going with light pink, hot pink, and white roses. Also light pink, pink, and faded pink/white carnations. And if you guys don't mind me asking, how much are you paying for your flowers?
| We're going with just red roses. I'll have a bouquet of 6, my MOH will carry 1, and the corsages and buttonnieres will all be single roses. The ribbons will be dark blue. And our colors are dark blue and silver for our favors. (less than three weeks. Hooray!)

| I don't think that's weird at all. It's light blue or dark blue? I think either will look good for winter, particularly a light frosty blue. That could look really beautiful with silver for accent.

| I am not sure what my bouquet will have in it. I am getting married at the Treasure Island Resort and Casino and they dont get into details until a month before the wedding. That means I wont know what the flowers are until next month. In the mean time, we are having a reception at a restaurant in the hotel and I am still trying to decide on the flowers. My fiance' is picking the colors of the wedding, seeing as this is his first and my second wedding. He wants blue, black and white for a December wedding. (I know, weird!). I think my flowers will end up white roses and blue hydrangeas. Cant really find any other blue flowers.......

| Red roses everywhere! I will have a solid "ball" of Black Magic roses for my bouquet and a lighter shade of red roses for my BM's and the centerpieces. Will probably have a sprinkling of white roses, too, to break up the red throughout the decor.

I'm doing a very Japanese arrangement: taking a very large glossy dark green leaf, cutting a slit and folding the pointy tip back over and through the slit. So it's dark green, and then you have an arrow of lighter green folded flat back over, from the underside of the leaf. For the flowers, you use that gorgeous background and put 2-3 medium-sized scarlet red flowers in the center. For a little extra visual interest, loop four long grass blades into a circle (2 of them), and put a few little thin twisty dry twigs.
The great thing about this is it's super simple (and cheap!) but looks devastatingly sophisticated (and expensive), will take about 10 minutes to put together, and can be done even by non-flower people.
For butonnieres, a small red calla lily and a simple sprig of pine curving toward it.

| Cristina, you would be very popular here in East Tennessee. Light orange and white are the colors for the University of Tennessee's football team, and college football here is more popular than Jesus. (Which is really saying a lot, because we are in the Bible Belt!) A lot of weddings here are orange and white.

| AH!!! This is one of the last things I have yet to decide on. I am getting married in a flower conservatory, so I definitely want to go minimal on the flowers for the actual ceremony. I go between wanting calla lilies for my bouquet to wanting a more condensed bouquet of mixed flowers. The bridesmaids, I am pretty sure I want them carrying pomodors... I know these aren't typically used for adult women, but again, I don't want flower overload. Simplistic elegance.
