Jotrkmommy-

Have to warn you... just because they say they are Christian-based, doesn't mean they won't take you for a ride. I took my car in for an oil change at a place my Uncle recommended. They then started to find a ton of other things wrong with my car (which were not when I got a second opinion). I called my uncle about it - he couldn't understand it, since they were listed in the Christian Business Directory.

She does, but it's still "under construction."

Her name is Kim and her website is www.stitchesandsuch.com. She's based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Her e-mail is kim@stitchesandsuch.com. I have no idea what you need to have done or where you live, so just send her a note and let her know what's up! Let her know that Deena gave you the rec and she'll recognize the connection. :-)

I got some more to add to my bridesmaids' gifts today as well!

So far, my girls are getting:

*A tote bag with their first name embroidered on it
*Necklace / earring set for the wedding
*Flip flops to wear to the reception
*a set of shea butter lotions in chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry
*a robe w/ their first initial embroidered on it (today's find! I got them at a Macy's that was closing for CHEAP!)

There is a girl I know from the Knot that does embroidery for a VERY reasonable price, so thus all the personalization!

I'll probably get them a couple of other little bath-type things, but that's about it.

Well, I have just read the intro on the site, and I am very happy to see that it is Christian-based. That is a great start for any company in my eyes. Thanks so much for the site URL, I am definitely going to check it out some more, for jewelry for me as well as for the cash opportunity!

Thanks for replying back ... I have some time and would love something like this ... How do you get involved? Is there a site that I could check out?

You do shows - book or actual parties -and say you sell a necklace for $26. You have to add shipping, which is $2.50 to the $26, and then tax it. Then you have to send premier money to cover the tax, shipping, and $13 dollars for the necklace...so off of 1neclase you just made $13. Then, if you are the host of the party you get credit for how much your party makes. Since my friend let me sell it at her cost, half off, I made alot more sales..and then got the credit just like everyone was paying full price. Premier doesn't loose anything...it's just my friend made no profit off of those sales. I works out pretty good, and if you sell it you can make alot of money - I just don't really have the time.

I am getting married in October, so I decided to get my girls a necklace and earings for thier gift to wear at the wedding! My friend sells premier jewelry and said I could sell it at her cost, which is 1/2 price. In 2 days I had $606 in orders - so I got all of the jewelry FREE!! I got 4 for my bridesmaids, 1 for each mother, and 1 for my aunt who is my personal attendant! I am so excited I HAD to share!! $381.00 worth of jewelry, and I didn't have to pay anything!! How is everyone elses planning going?? Anyone else come across any good deals???
