That sounds incredibly beautiful ... I can only hope that my wedding works out that well, and that they both work out according to plan. I will pray for that, that's for sure. It sounds like you've got a memorable Christmas coming ...

My wedding is going to be in my home on Christmas Eve...with just family and a few friends. It's totally planned. Not necesarily done, but planned. I am sending announcements instead of invitations. My favors are Christmas ornaments. I am having a harpist and a photographer. I'm a Christmas nut so the house will be decorated to the hilt. We are having a big holiday buffet and a wedding cake with glittery snowflakes. My 3 boys will give me away..if they can all get here. My minister rearranged the church's whole Christmas Eve services to work in our wedding. It all fell into place incredibly well.

Well I wish you the best of luck! I, too, have found my dress, however, I am not going to even attempt to buy until the time comes. What we are going to do though, is book EVERYTHING as the money comes ... that will less things that we have to worry about. And I am going to look into buying giftcards for all my bridal stores and things like that. That way I know that I will save the money, and I still have the freedom to change my mind about clothing ideas between now and then.

Funny thing is...I bought this dress right after the divorce...I saw it in a catalog and thought it was the perfect 2nd wedding dress...and I wasn't even dating anyone...lol. It still is perfect but I bought it small when I bought it and I have grown since then...so now if I want to wear it, we must trim the butt a bit!!!!

I just read the headline on your sparkpage ... about your dress needing a smaller body? That was just so funny, and I can so relate to that. It is one of my biggest dreams to go into the bridal shop to buy my dress and order it and when they ask what size ... I won't have to say, "I'll be needing size COW."

That is so funny .... I am like that a little bit. Moatly I just wanted to lose weight and get healthy. But my pictures from now ... they remind me of why I want to keep the weight OFF! I am not just going to be a hot bride ... I'll be a hot wife or bust!

Now I am happily planning a wedding. My biggest inspiration is my ex's new bride...she looked like a cow in her wedding dress and I swore I would not be a fat bride...he picture inspires me daily...lol. Too bad I can't thank her.

That is how is was with Ryan and I, although I was also married before. I had only been apart from 1st husband for around nine or ten months, and in fact, I wasn't even divorced completely. We had been to court but it wasn't yet final. When Ryan and I got together I was so NOT looking. But there he was. And how great a blessing he has been to me ...

I was extremely happy single and never ever thought I would go down this road again. But, I am happy that this is my path now. Randy is a wonderful man.

Life is so much better when there is someone to lean on isn't it?

The ex has remarried a poor unsuspecting woman...lol. Anyway, yes, life is wonderful now. Randy is a totally different kind of man...totally trustworthy. Life is much calmer and peaceful now.

Wow, I'm sorry. That is an awful person to have wasted so much time with. But I am hoping that you are seeing better days ...

Oh, it's Lifetime movie kind of stuff. We had been together since I was 12 and he was 13...I was 18 when we married. When we were married 28 years, I discovered that he had been living a double life with another woman in another town for 15 years. I haven't spoken to him in 7 years. After I divorced him, he dumped the other woman.
