Remember, you are marrying the love of your life, a person who loved you 26 pounds ago and who loves you the way you are right now. CHOOSE to be happy with the progress that you've made and to be happy on your wedding day, one of the most joyful events of your life. CHOOSE to be happy and look forward to starting a new life with the person you love. You are worthy enough not to be cheated out of the joys of your wedding by dwelling on the negative things. Make a conscious decision to be happy with the progress that you've made so far and to be happy PERIOD during these last few weeks of wedding planning.

If you still want to do something about your body:

Have you looked into Pilates? I heard it does wonderful things in regards to sculpting your body and you see results fairly quickly with consistent practice.

Girl, my wedding is May 28 and I've only lost 5 pounds since I got engaged (last summer). 26 pounds is damn good. You should be proud of yourself. Plus, as soon as you stop stressing so much I'm sure you can lose it ASAP. No matter what make sure you have fun.

Hun, you ARE gorgeous. Do NOT let your weight dictate how you feel on your wedding day. 26 lbs is a LOT of weight to lose. You've done amazing. Seriously though, focus on your wedding and how you are marrying the man of your dreams. Easier said than done but you do not want to wake up on your wedding day and hate yourself because you aren't exactly at your weight goal. Life is too short.

I was thinking of going to La Weight Loss and getting the Take Off Juice, I might just have to do that too. It's more or less the 48 Hour Hollywood Diet but you eat other foods while drinking it. I used to work there, and it did help me lose weight quickly...just a thought.

This is some great advice! I've been working out 4-5 times a week, even on weekends, and I've been eating between 1200-1350 calories per day. I'll admit, I have not been strict this week because I've been so stressed with things. Its funny, but when I feel fat, I eat more. What's the point of that?? Anyway, here is what I'm going to do. For the next 4 weeks, save my bachelorette party, I'm not going to have any alcoholic drinks. No more margaritas, no more wine, no more amaretto sours. No more. Also, I'm going to stop eating these stupid crackers that I've had on my desk at work, and I'm dumping all my Easter candy into baggies and giving it away to the warehouse workers here at my job.

I'm going to continue my working out and strength training. If I give it all I've got, I can't regret anything. Even if I don't make it to 8 lbs, or 10 lbs, at least I'll know I've done all I can to get there. Eventually, I will make it. Just might not get there before May 20...

You can safely drop 1-2 pounds per week. So, if you buckled down you could be down 8 more pounds. Do cardio for 30 minutes, 5 days per week. And, do strength training a few days per week. Plus, cut out most of your carbs. Only eat whole wheat breads and asboslutely no sugar. If you aren't down to 1200 calories per day, try it. It will prob help to get you down where you want to be.

Its pretty drastic, but have you ever done a cleanse or detox of your body? It really more for the cleansing and detoxification of your system, but do some research you can drop weight fast, but it is NOT the purpose of it even though its used for it a lot.

Research Master Cleanse or Lemonade diet. It will give all details and directions. Good luck if you can stick to it!!!

I'm getting down to the wire and I'm so not where I want to be physically. Does anyone have any advice, tips, etc on not focusing on this? I'm letting myself get way too depressed about it. I've come so far and I really thought that the last few weeks would be a walk in the park -- I figured I would be practically at my goal, not still close to 10 lbs away. I don't know how much harder I can work at this! But I don't like feeling so depressed when I should be happy for my upcoming wedding. I'm focusing on the negative, I know -- but at times like this, it's really hard not to. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I've already lost about 26 lbs since January, but I'm still overwhelmed with this last 10. I don't know if it's exactly 10, but I know how I feel and I know how I look just isn't quite what I want ito be be. I wanted to be thin for my wedding, and I still feel like a huge chunk. I wish there were a way to really just drop this last bit quickly. I'd be so happy.
