I am insanely impressed! 170 to 146... that gives me hope! You did an amazing job working down to your goal weight, and even if you dont get to it, 146 looks amazing in a bikini too I think :)

I definitely need to shake things up. I've been eating the same foods and working out at the same time for 3 months -- that's got to be the problem, you know?

My wedding is May 14, I would love to lose about 10-15 more lbs, I am not going to get my hopes up thinking I will meet my goal of 15, but 10 or so would be nice. I have recently started really cutting carbs, not the atkins Diet, but really limiting myself. I'll eat some carbs for b-fast, then less for lunch and very little if any for dinner. I am striving not to eat after 7, and drink ALL my water for the day. It seems to have "kick started" my progress, I think when you get too much into a routine, your body knows your intake, the resources you will exhaust through exercise and daily activities so it adjusts accordingly for survival, sometimes you need to "shake up" you routine. (this is not my theory, I have read articles on this) But it helped on losing a few lbs so far, and also has kept me motivated

Thanks guys -- I'm going to try my best. FH suggested I start *really* keeping a food journal. I was almost insulted b/c I've been trying really hard, and doing well, and his comment came across a little condescending. But now that I think about it, I know he's only trying to help. Especially for the next 3 or 4 weeks, I'm going to be more strict with my eating, because I can only work out so much, you know? If I concentrate more on my eating habits and keep working out to my max, I should be good, right?

Only 1 month, 1 week, and 6 days till my wedding!!!

You girls will make , for the last post just aim for two pounds a week, but don't do anything not healthy just continue exercising and eating healthy, maybe work out a little more, but remember to relax before the wedding don't stress too much =)

I understand were u'r coming from Susanna03. I still have 10 pounds to go and my wedding is May 19. I'm hoping I can do it because I'd really like to look good in my dress. As for the swimsuit (we going to Jamaica), I'm not brave enough to not wear a cover up. Good luck to you!

Hi Bliss...
My wedding isn't until October...but I can definitely offer some support: Whenever you don't feel like working out, or whenever you go to the fridge when you're not hungry--just think about a bikini, your future wedding pictures, or even hang a bikini on your fridge! Your wedding and honeymoon only happen once, but you will have the pictures for a lifetime...you know you can do this!! Think of how far you've come- you're doing great!

Hi all -- I'm new around here but I thought I'd just jump right in. I'm looking for support, help, distraction, ANYTHING b/c I'm 6 weeks from my wedding (Yay!) and 15 lbs away from my goal weight. Alright, I'd be happy losing 10 lbs, but for all intents and purposes, I'm trying to lose 15 lbs.

So far, since January, I've lost 24 lbs. I made it down from 170 to 146, and I'm trying to get to 135 for my honeymoon. My dress fits fine (it could always look better, but it's gorgeous!) and the only thing I'm concerned about is the beach on St. Martin and doing the water parks in Disneyworld! I've got to wear a bikini and I'm desperate to lose this last few pounds. Is anyone else in the same boat?
