I have a Man of Honor, MOH, 5 BMs, and 2 junior BMs...he has 2 BM, 6 GM, 2 ushers.
Yeah, huge I know! We couldn't decide between our friends. Now I think it is a bit out of control and wished I could pare it down...too late!

We are getting married next June 07 and I have always known what friends I would love to be there for me and I have a sister and Sis-in-law that I want to stand up there with me too! So I am having 5 friends (amazing friends) and I still want to add two more. I haven't asked any yet - going to wait! I am having my two nieces as junior bridesmaids. So all in all - 7 BMS and 2 JBMS and 7 groomsmen and 2 junior groomsmen (my two nephews). Cliff's nieces and nephews (3 girls, 2 boys) will be flower girls, ring bearer and not too sure what else to give the role of his 8 year old nephew - thought ring bearer because he would love that honour but was wondering than what to do with his 3 will be 4 year old nephew. He is quite the talker and is confident - so he'd have no problem with people starring at him. He will more than likely make friends on his way up the aisle!!! What a cutie! Any suggestions for him?
So our wedding party is pretty big...I don't want to leave my good friends out or family that mean the world to me. I just can't. And I am having a difficult time not being able to add 2 more bridesmaids (cuz I love those two gals too! - really good friends as well) But then we'd have 11 and 11 plus 3-4 children. WOW! And believe it or not, we are not planning on having a huge wedding (about 150) and our church is a small town church (small and cute). So I am worried about our party looking kinda big and funny! But I also think it will be a HOOT to have everyone there with us and involved!

started out as a much larger wedding than it is now (my mom wanted 800 people ) We started out with 2 MOH's for me and 4 Bridesmaids (big families) and 1 Best Man and 5 Groomsmen for Dan. But now we have my 2 MOH's, my best friends, and my sis as an attendant, and Dan has his BM and 2 Groomsmen.... the others are now going to be doing other things in the wedding, like FH's sister will be singing when I walk down the aisle (he doesn't know that yet though, will be a secret)
I did just go to a wedding a few months back where she had 1 MOH, 6 bridesmaids, and 6 jr's. He had 1BM and 6 GM's, plus a ring bearer and flower girl! Yikes!!

SUSANNA03 - good for you, having 'uneven' bridesmaids/groomsmen! We were going to have to do that and people were scandalized!
|
|
|
|
| Seven of my best friends for bridesmaids...and nine of my fiance's best friends for groomsmen. Neither of us could narrow it down! I guess for once, we're both lucky that we don't have huge families.

1 matron of honor (my sister), 1 best man (his brother). Three flower-girls (MOH's daughters and best man's daughter) and one ring-bearer (best man's son) - if the 3-year olds (one flower girl and the ring-bearer) can handle it.
Small and easy! :)

| I've gone back and forth on how I feel about it... I am having 4 plus a jr bridesmaid and 2 flower girls. Being 23, I have tons of friends out of college that I could have in my day... but then it came down to WHO will be in my life in 20 years. That narrowed it down alot. There are still others I would love to have, but I will find another task for theM!

I personally feel like it is more fun to have quite a few of people in your bridal party. Makes it more fun!

| I have 1 maid of honnor, 1 bridesmaid. He has 1 best man, 1 groomsman. We have a ring berrer and may or may not have a flower girl. I don't really want kids at the wedding but that would create too many fudes.

I have six bridesmaids and six groomsmen, no kids. It started as five, but my fiance was happy-drunk one night and wanted to ask his frat little brother, since they were having so much fun...and I'm a pushover. At least he asked me if it was okay first!
My little cousin has done a couple of weddings as flower girl, and while she's a good sport for a while, she gets tired and cranky and then her mom (one of my BMs) gets cranky, too. I don't even think the little one is coming to the wedding, since it's such a long day (1pm ceremony, 5pm - 10pm reception).

9 bridesmaids, 9 gromsmen, 1 flower girl, 1 ring bearer, and his 2 brothers and dad are doing the ceremony, or it would've been 11 bridesmaids/groomsmen! I love them all, but I don't think I could fit another one!

| 4 bridesmaids (1 of them MoH), 4 groomsmen, possibly 1 flower girl (she may be too young, we'll decide when the date gets closer). We were going to have only 3 each, but he wanted his sister involved, whom he's not really close to, so I made him ask my brother, whom I am close to (but who didn't really want to have to wear a tux).

| 2 Maids of Honor, 1 Bridesmaid, 2 Best men, 1 Groomsman, 3 Ushers (our brothers) and 1 flower girl. My daughter is going to be both flower girl and ring bearer :)

| I'm having 2 MOH (couldn't choose) and 1 BM and he's having a BM and two Groomesmen. Then we also have a flower girl; if MOH's daughter (who is 2) gets over screaming fits, she might also be another flower girl.

| hhahaha i have a huge bridal party... 7 ...yes... 7 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen and two flowergirls. I have 5 REALLY close friends..like...we would die for eachother...and two sisters who I couldn't leave out. And he has many friends as well. So..yeah. I felt kinda stupid having such a huge bridal party but really, I wouldn't want anyone else to surround me on my wedding day.

| Just two bridesmaids and two groomsmen. And two ushers I think, but the fiancee is in charge of that so who knows.
