Yeh, I've tried theknot and for the area I am looking for, they don't have any reccomendations. I wouldn't have though the military base. There is an Air National Guard base about 20 minutes away.

This may be a silly question, but have you joined TheKnot.com? I live in a very rural area, and found them to be the single best resource for all kinds of things. They have a section for every kind of vendor, including rental equipment, you can put your zip code or area that is closest to you, and they will give you a list of all the vendors for that item within your specified area. Also, most states have a wedding website. Try going to Google or Yahoo, typing in your states name, plus "weddings", and see what comes up. Many times those websites have a listing of all kinds of vendors organized by catagory.

Good Luck.

Natalie do you have any miltary bases near you? I am renting a tent with sides, tables, and chairs for our brunch from the Aberdeen Proving Ground (which is right around the corner from me).

I need to rent a tent and a dance floor. Does anyone have any ideas for places around the Vancouver, WA area or generic places nationwide??
