About 1/2 of the US, France, Switzerland, Italy, Monacco, Greece, Aruba, Mexico, Bahamas, UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Canada (Montreal, Toronto), Maui.

I leave for Jamacia next week and I'll be going to Kazakhstan at the end of the year.

Greece was my fav. My honeymoon. Athens left a lot to be desired for me. Although I'd like to see it post-olympics. The islands is where it is at. Hydra is a small island where no motor vehicles are allowed. Very beautiful and very relaxed. Evia - the island where my husband is from. His family still tends sheep there. Rhodes was beautiful too. We didn't hit the "party" islands but it was a trip of a lifetime.

Belgium was the most old-world European to me in where I have traveled. Very beautiful. No one hardly spoke English. The beer is great the chocolate is even better.

Trips that take me as far away from American strip mall life is what I like to do best. Places that are culturally different where I can learn new perspectives on people and on life. All-inclusives and cruises are just not for us. When we go to Jamaica next week, we'll be staying in a tiny little fishing village in South Jamaica called Treasure Beach.....away from the spring break chaos. It is supposed to be what Jamaica was like 30-50 years ago. My fingers are crossed that this is true!!

Happy travels!!

I grew up in N. California and have been to.....Mexico (about 6 different areas, many times - love it), Chile, Australia, Oregon, Washingson, Idaho, Illinois, PA, Mass, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Utah, Nevada, Texas, Florida, Arizona, and many more states (I forget them all, I traveled across county via car two times so far).

I have lived on Oahu, Hawaii for the past two years and have been to Maui and the Big Island (Hawaii). Favorite place thus far, California and I can't wait to move back this summer and take more road trips (I have island fever BAD).

Places still need to visit (the rest of the world)! But for starters....Alaska, Canada, Africa and Europe!

I love to travel and that is probably one of my top goals in life, to see the world!

My absolutely most favorite place in the world is the Provence region of France. It's incredible. The beautiful vineyards, villages that are carved into the hillside, the smell of lavender & thyme everywhere, fields of sunflowers that seem to go on forever. I swear it's a small piece of heaven on Earth! I loved the rest of what I saw of France too!

Other than that I've been to Cozumel, Playa Del Carmen, Oregon & Maui. This fall I'm going to Great Britain & Ireland for a month. Can't wait!

Too many U.S. states to mention, Alaska (we LOVED it there). The sunshine in summer and lack of in the winter is neat to get used to. kids would stay up playing outside until 2 am in the summer, it was still light out. It only would get dark enough for the street lights to turn on. In the winter, there were days when you couldn't go outside, either due to the snow or the cold wind. We lived in Anchorage.
Another fun place to live is Japan. We lived in Northern Japan, and we traveled to Tokyo, Okinawa and many places in between. The food there was AMAZING. Hope to move back soon.

Hi, Kim... nice to hear from you.
Yes, I live in Queens, New York, but work and always hang out in Manhattan. Was raised in Puerto Rico. Yes, I am Puerto Rican, but born in NYC. I was just at Union Square on Tuesday. It send it's regards. I also love Barnes & Noble. I believe you said you live in London? If so, you can get great deals with plane fare and hotel. I agree NY has much for someone who loves, as you do, art, theater, and music. When was your last visit?
New friend,

The purpose of this is to share some of your favourite destinations with us hit by the travel bug.
Share your experiences, fave resturants or activitities etc. From road trips too cruises to international travel, share so we can maybe buddy up for travel someday as our gift to ourselves.
For me:
Europe, lived in and love New York, born in London. Favourite Caribbean destination Marti9nique - Paris in the Caribbean and Barbados (very upscale and nice).
Like all kinds of travel. I deserve a healthy cruise, do you guys know of any?
Kim
