| Thanks you two. Since I was counting on my fiance's relative to originally do the cake. His mom said that she will take care of the cake and buy it and all. That was great to hear. I am thinking about getting my calla lilies at costco. They are $109 for 50 of them. I also found some great looking and affordable vases that I'm going to use on tables. The stress level has gone way down since I saw the church this morning with my mom, grandma, and future mother in law. Things are running alot more smoothly.

| I have been to a ton of weddings were either the girls got their flowers or cakes down by a local supermakert and everything turned out fantastic. I dont know much about Albertsons - except for the fact it is the only grocery store I can find when I visit SLC!

Hey Andrea,
I wanted to address what you said in a post a couple of days ago, I am so glad to know that I am not the only one who was feeling that way. I think you and I have a lot in common, which may be the reason we are so motivated by each other. I really took it personally when the people on KBC started bailing, I know realistically especially with these online groups that people start bailing pretty quickly on a regular basis, but I honestly thought KBC wouldn't be like that since it was only an 8 week challenge. I felt the same way you did, it's important for me to have that " team" motivation. Anyway, I tried to check out NMJ, but I am kinda lost at navigation, when I figure out whats going on pver there, I will start participating. Anyway, have a great day.

Actually, I used to work at Albertson's and MANY, MANY people got their wedding cakes there. I myself personally got my cake at SHHHH, Don't tell anyone, WALMART!!! Nobody ever knew and the cake looked GREAT!!! If I knew where my wedding photos are, I would send you a pic of the cake, It was beautiful and was like $75.00 or something, we only had 2 tiers ( 2nd marriage for me, third for him) so we had a small wedding 50 people or so. Anyway, please stop stressing yourself, when you look back on your wedding day, the most important memory should be, that's the day I married my soulmate, rather than, OMG, the planning was sooo stressful, go to Albertsons or Wally world order your cake and RELAX!!!!!! LOL Have a great day.

I am so feeling the stress. I can't wait for it to be over and I can go kayaking in the inlet in Canada with all the tropical plants and peace and quiet.
I am still having major problems finding a florist and someone to do the cake (the lady who was supposed to bailed on me). Are there any general places you have herd good things about. My fiance said that Albertsons was good at both but I find that hard to believe about a grocery store. Any advice?

You are getting down to the wire as well! Are you feeling the anxiety and stress from it all yet? I know I am and I cant wait to lay on a beach in Aruba with a cold drink in my hand!

Hey it is great to see some people from the KBC here. My wedding is June 17th and I'm trying to loose about 20 pounds overall but I am really trying to loose those inches since I ordered my dress two sizes smaller.
It's not bad to want the wedding to be over, I also think that at times. Sometimes it is because of the stress of planning, and other times it is because I just want to be married and go on my honeymoon in Cananda.

I am glad you guys are on here! This site has been a god send for me. It is so much easier to track everything!! It is sad to see KBC to be no more; however, it got frustrating as well to see so many ladies start and then just disappear after the first week. I'm doing pretty well - just ready for the wedding to be over already (is that bad?)!
Natalie - when is your wedding again? Glad to see your still working hard towards it - and it WILL all pay off for you!

| Hey, I am doing much better. I have started to exercise more and it is easier to keep track of things on this site over the KBC. It is sad to see it dissolve though. I am still working hard on the wedding. How are you doing? I've noticed you posting around the site.
