We're having passed appetizers: petite crab cakes, spring rolls, cheese and crakers, and vegetables and dip.

Our main meal is a buffet with salmon and either pork loin or chicken breasts and all the vegetables and sides that go along with.

Cherry Cheesecake (yuck! I had to compromise with my fiance on this one).
Of course... cake (I am making a white cake with strawberry filling).

Your menus all sound amazing!
We are having grilled chicken & grilled tilapia with pasta alfredo for anyone who is a vegetarian. Also, fresh fruit salad, fresh baby greens salad, MASHED potatoes (my fav), grilled veggies, huge sticky buns (the restuarant's specialty) and lots of fresh punches, and lemonades............mmmmmm

buffet with two passed apps
the buffet will include salad/fresh fruit/antipasto/cheeses - pasta dish, chicken satay, smoked salmon, mashed spuds, carving station for baron of beef.
i get to try this menu later in the month and i cant wait. :)

We are doing a "western buffet" that consists of hamburgers, texas fries, ribs, beans, coleslaw, rolls, apple cobbler, etc...I am sooo excited!

We're doing a "champagne brunch" buffet - all you can drink champagne, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, vegetables, waffles, steak, fish - all kinds of stuff.

We are from the south as well so we are having a pig pickin', i don't know if you guys have heard of that, for our rehearsal dinner but for the reception we are having crab dip, veggies, and cheese for cocktail hour, then for dinner we are having roast turkey with a mushroom gravy sauce, beef tenderloin, mashed potato bar (my favorite) with all the fixin's, vegetable medley, and salad. I sure hope I get to eat some of it...

My fiance and I decided on bbq since we are in South Texas and we're both Texans. We're having brisket, chicken, spanish rice, beans, potato salad, bread and all the fixings and iced tea.

We're having it catered by a local bbq company. What are y'all having at your reception?
