Umm I don't watch any of them I usuaaly PVR anything I want to watch and just skip the commercials. I can't remember the last time I watched ads.

I think you are referring to the people, but uncertain. sometimes I have alot of admiration for attractive people, as long as they are dressed "sensuously" as opposed to "sexually".
My personal belief is that no one needs to exploit themselves, though. (no matter how much money is to be made,) there is a lot of "taste and style" to the way we present ourselves, but it should be so in everyone.
I know that the trends for the 90's was "sex sells" & the trend was "women rule" in the millinium, but I think with the world the way it is with typhoons, earthquakes, fire, floods, disaster, and then not only sexual disease, but all disease, men without admiration, because they are jobless, homeless, hungry people, etc etc, people are probably becoming more aware of God now, and things will change.
I think I've always thought this way, though. Even when I was living next door to prostitutes, when I first moved to Toronto, was offerred to be an exotic dancer, etc. (I don't begrudge anyone, but my thoughts still are my thoughts.)
Now if you are referring to the "killer food" ads, that's another thought.. I'm outraged to see these ads, not only "killing us, but KILLING OUR CHILDREN" Love, Prayers, and TICKLES. Carol.

I don't watch much tv and when I do have it on I'm usually doing something else (cleaning or working on my computer) so I don't pay any attention to them.
If I am watching a show I just flip channels and never watch commercials.

I have a dvr so I just fastforward them now. Women in Hollywood are too thin. It's unhealthy.

Honestly? When I am at the gym I like to see the commercials. I pick a feature on the model, like their bicep or something and I focus on that part of me. So, instead of viewing it in a negative way, I like to think on what I am achieving. I will never want to be as skinny as a Victoria's secret model though, yuck.

Honestly, I'm disgusted with them. i get sick and tired of seeing it all. I don't need to see women prancing around in their underwear and bras or talking about tampons or kotex(sorry guys). And no we do not have to look like them or think we have to buy their products to look or feel like it to achieve a certain look or feeling. I think they should ban these commercials personally but it will never happen. Why? The guys enjoy them to much. So I just turn the channel or ignore them and do my own thing and think for myself. I'm not stupid. I can pick out my own under garments myself. Enough said.

Tell us how you feel about the bombardment of TV commercials, like Victoria Secrets and Cosmo, and mags. that seem to say OUR bodies could or should be like the models in the adds. Smiles
