plastic because it's easy and comvenient to carry

| paper for our burn garbage....but now we usually shop at our Super Walmart and get all plastic which we use for diapers and small garbage cans

| plastic-it's too rainy here to use paper (plus I reuse them in my store)

Paper in plastic- neither holds up by themselves
recycle paper with all the other recyclables and use the plastic ones for garbage bags.

I hate that they don't ask which you prefer when they're bagging your groceries. I like paper, but I always end up with plastic because I'm too distracted making sure my stuff gets rung up correctly to remember to tell the bagger to put my stuff in paper bags.
When I do remember to tell them, I end up with bags that are overstuffed. Apparently they don't train people to pack paper bags anymore. So it seems that I can't win :\
