| Thanks for the tip...I didn't think of even looking in a store.

Hi, I got married last August and got my bridesmaids totes and flipflops. They loved them. I went to a locale embroidery shop and they had tons of catalogs and ordered the bags I wanted and then embroidered their initial on the front. It was only about $8 a bag for all of that, then I got the flip flops. Lillianvernon.com does have some really cute ones, just thought I would give another idea

LillianVernon.com has a variety of bags. They are the cheaper end. Lands End also has some which are nice quality. nnichols.com has a variety of very unique bags also.
Hope this helps you find something!!!

| I like the idea of the totes and the flip flops for the reception! I think since my wedding is in April, I might buy some cheap travel umbrellas too (april showers) :) Where do you get the Lillian totes from?

Anyone know where I can get cheap beach towels (internet of at the store)? The beach bags I have are so huge... and I don't have that much more money to spend on the towels, from all the other stuff I've bought. Maybe I'll just sell the bags... any advice?

Bridesmaids: Chunky Pearl necklaces, a tote bag filled with little Goodies like bath gels, etc
Groomsmen: a nice cigar, cigar cutter, and probably something else

| I am doing a bag as well. I haven't decided which ones yet. They have some awesome ones out on e-Bay....Lillian Vernon is actually pretty cheap and has some decent personalized ones too! I think I am doing a nice bracelet and earrings for the girls. Their dress is busy in front so I thought I necklace might be too much!

I got them each a canvas beach bag with a colored trim. I'm going to put a beach towel, flip flops, and body butter from Victoria's Secret in there. I think I might put sequins or decorate the flip flops somehow-- and they can wear them at the reception if they want (since it'll be outside on grass). My fiancee still hasn't decided what to get the groomsmen.

| There is this website, and store Ill have to remember the name but you can make your own purse from scratch and so i am going to bring my one bridesmaid there because she loves purses, she's already said how excited she is...but other than that I'm thinking of some nice jewelry

| We're probably going to do the generic jewelry and mongramed flasks for the bridal party. But for extras (the MC, the minister, the musician, etc.) the Hallmark store has this awesome little series of books - "The Blue Day Book", "The Meaning of Life" and "Tomorrow" - each have these adorable pictures of animals and an uplifting narrative. About $15 each.

| Oh...good idea! Thanks. I will run that by him!!!

My fiancee had the same problem. He likes the swiss army knives with the initials but that's what his best friend did.
However, that wasn't one of the choices that you mentioned... have you thought about that?

| The girls were easy...we are having a hard time deciding on the guys!!! In weddings in our group of family/friends in the past couple of years BBQ Sets, Flasks, Bottle Openeers, Tavern Signs and Monogrmamed Glasses have been done. We didn't want to reapeat...any other ideas?

| I gave my girls housecoats- they were really cute knee length ones in white, with blue trim and daisies (which totally matched my theme and colours). I bought one for myself too, and we all wore ours in the hotel room the night before (everyone slept over with me). We even went into the lounge wearing them- everyone laughed.

| My fiance is doing barbecue sets for his guys :) I'm going to do the jewelry for my bridesmaids and something small.

I'm thinking of either totes with their names or pashmina shawls in either the wedding colors or their favorite color.
For the guys, I think they might be getting a ring from a local silversmith.

We did for the girls: Lillian Vernon totes, flip flops for the reception, a frame (which I gave them a picture of the two of us from the wedding later), and a necklace.
For the guys and ringbearer: Gift certs to a store that suited their interests
For the Flowergirls: a Lillian Vernon tote with their name on it, crayons, coloring books, and a necklace that matched the "big girls".

I think we are going to get the groomsmen personalized bottle openers. You know, the antique-looking metal ones that hang on the wall.
I want to do something totally unique for my bridesmaids. Just haven't had any earth shaking ideas yet!

My bridesmaids really are not the "girly" type, so I got them monogramed Stadium Blankets, since they are all football fans.
I ordered them from Jean M Essentials, and they were WONDERFUL when it came to customer service, even replaced the order when they arrived in the wrong color.

| My husband had the same problem since they were all so diffrent so he bought these GREAT wallats from sams that were leather and in really nice cases. They all really loved them since alot of them had old ratty ones from highschool and college. Just a thought since boys usually don't go out and buy themselves things like that.

My fiancee has thought about it, he just doesn't like anything he sees. We pretty much have his best man's gift because it's his best friend and they are both into golf. That one's easy.
The other's are harder because they really aren't into anything. My brother is one of his groomsmen and loves soccer, but other than that, no real interest. I think that's why it's been so hard for him to pick something.

Are your groomsmen into any hobbies or anything like that?
For my girls, I am paying to get their hair, makeup, manicure, pedicure done before the wedding. I have also bought them an opal, tanzanite, diamond pendant and a travel jewelry roll as well. For the guys, I dont even think my FI as thought about it.

Have you girls thought about them? I am thinking about buying the jewelry for my girls and maybe a litte jewelry box. My fiancee however, is having a hard time finding something for his groomsmen.
Any ideas or suggestions?
