Well I got a weigh-in report with a goal line and my weight line. I know 175 is my goal weight at July 1st in my weigh-in report which is what produced that line. Either way, if it is based on my current weight, that is all I really care about (and actually wanted). Next time I adjust my weight I will check if it (I adjusted it today, but I wasn't paying attention).

L,

Are you sure you set a goal weight? I checked your account, and there isn't anywhere to put in a weight loss goal- your calorie and nutrient recommendations are based on maintaining your current weight, not losing.

Spark5 is giving me absolutely everything except the ability to change my goal weight. It just seems odd that this is the case. I absolutely hate to lose the months of tracking I did just to change my goal weight. I just don't quite understand how you can get the daily calorie intake without a goal weight and if there is a goal weight why it can't be changed.

Also just wondering. My goal is 175 on July 1st, what happens on July 1st? Can I set a new goal?

L,

Thanks for posting this here. Yep, the only way to change to the SparkDiet is to reset your account, so you would lose all of your previous data. Is the Spark5 program giving you calorie and nutrient ranges? If not, the SparkDiet will do that so that you can see how much you should be eating based on your activity level.

Sorry I can't give you a better answer.

The only way to change that is to reset my account? Doesn't that mean I lose absolutely everything I have done? I have tracked this religiously since I started and do not really want to lose it. Only reason I want to redo this is because my daily calories/fat/protein/carbs must be off. With either plan should I not be able to change the weight because of the changes in nutritional limits? I know I can change it manually, but I would rather have what the site guides me for a person with my activity level.

As a side note on why I need to do is because I have dropped to a level I thought was completely unreachable before (especially so quickly).

Ahh- I think I see the problem. Are you hoping to set a weight loss goal? If so, you're using the wrong SP program. We have 2- the SparkDiet (for weight loss) and Spark5 (just a healthy living program- not for weight loss). If you want to switch over to the SparkDiet, you can click on Account Preferences on your homepage and click Reset Goals- then you'll be able to choose the other program.

Hope that helps,

The homepage being the page that it sends you to once you log in? I see (and use) everything he mentions except the goal weight and the change diet plan. Below the mytools (nutrition, fitness, and weigh-in) then I have little space and Spark5 plan with a little blurb.

L,

It's different now. If you go to your homepage on the left side you'll see your weight goal listed and next to it is a Change button. Click there and you can change your goal.

Hope that helps,

Is this still there? I am trying to change my goal weight since I am very close to it but I just cannot find this. I did it before, but that was the old way. I have searched the site high and low and cannot find this tool. By the sounds of it this should easy to find.

I really like this change. It was nice to be able to set my calorie goals to where I most like to maintain my ranges.

I didn't have any fitness goals set up because of an injury. Now, when I click on the fitness page, it says I don't have any set up and I need to click on the "change diet goals button." Which doesn't exist anymore? help...
pamela

ps. I literally got that message about 1 minute ago.
thanks!

pps. Okay, you can click the change fitness goals button on the upper right of that page and change them. The message just needs to be updated to say to click the correct button instead of what it does say. Thanks!

Hey everyone

We launched some changes to our program setup and program changes to make things easier. There are now individual pages to change your Weight, Nutrition, Fitness, and Fast Break goals. You used to need to go through our whole setup process to change one type of goal, now you can change each goal more quickly.

You can change each of these goals from the bottom of your "My Tools" section on your Start page. You can also change your Nutrition and Fitness goals from the top of the respective myNutrition and myFitness pages.

One thing to note, if you change your weight goal or calories burned goal, you may have updates made to your calories eaten goal (and also your carb/protein/fat goals) to correspond with the other changes.

Please reply here if you have any questions or problems. Thanks!
