| Someone once told me you might not notice anything for the first four weeks and after that it will start to fall off if you truly eat what you should and workout like you should. I would agree with the rest of them. Rest 24hrs until you lift weights again. Then on the days you don't lift you should walk or jog. Do count cals. it works you body burn cals. everyday and if you intake less then you burn then you will burn fat. 3500 cals = 1 lb of fat. Keep in mind that 1 to 2 pounds a week is good, that is like 5 to 10 pounds a week and it will stay off that way.

I understand where you are coming from.I plateau and gain a lot of muscle and lose fat so I don't see the difference much on the scale. That is one reason why I had my husband hide the scale from me.I would try to weigh myself everyday.As long as you are seeing a difference in your close that's what matters.The others are right it's gonna take time.It will be worth it in the end though, don't give up.We're here for you!

| I have to agree with what has already been said, however I would like to add, on days you do not go to the gym to workout go for a walk for 20 to 30 minutes...this will really help and you will notice the difference in your energy....be sure to get those 8+ glasses of water in each day. You can do this and I really think you will be happy with the results...but STOP TODAY on the pills....

Also: It's NOT a job. It should be fun! Find activities which are fun but also burn calories, and you will be more likely to stick with it.

| I am going to ditto what TenthDoctor has said. You do need time off in between strength training to repair muscle. If you want to work out each day then how about doing upper body one day and lower body the next so that the muscles have time to repair. Everything else I would say is virtually identical to what TenthDoctor told you. Good luck and hang in there. This takes time and remember that it is a lifestyle change and not a speed contest. ;-)

Hello!
You've got a gym? That's great. I'm gonna give you a couple of tips. They may not be what you want to hear, but trust me.
1. Do NOT go to the gym all day every day. Leave yourself at least 1 day off between hard workouts. The muscles need time to repair and it's in that repairing that they get stronger and leaner. Strong muscles = hungry fatburning muscles.
2. Don't use diet pills, all they do is dehydrate you. If you're going to take some stimulant at least have it as a cup of tea so you get some water with it. water is good. Drinking water will help you lose weight because once your body gets adjusted to being hydrated, it'll start letting go of water weight on its own. That's much better than forcing water out of you with a pill, isn't it?
3. Use the calorie counter. Some days, eat at the bottom of the range. Other days, try the middle or top.
4. It takes time. Sometimes you'll lose and sometimes you won't. But if you keep it up you'll feel better and your measurements will shrink even if the scale doesn't move...you've got to remember muscle weighs more than fat BUT IT TAKES UP LESS SPACE. So you'll probably see shrinkage of your measurements before you see your weight get smaller, because you're replacing big fat tissue with compact muscle tissue.

| iv been trying so hared im now going to the best gym ever. were it open all day long. im eating right and now im dryinga diet pill but still not seeing nothing it jsut seems like im getting fater o something.i dont no what to do im trying so hared of not evering thining about stoping and all if some one can jsut make my day and telling what to do are jsut say hi and all
