I don't mind if my snack column being a bit bigger than meals sometimes. I usually track my food before dinner to see how much I can eat and then afterwards to see what I have remaining for a bedtime snack.

Im going for the 5-6 small meals a day as well and I have a schedule that I try to stick to. I have posted up on the fridge when I eat and thats my goal. It doesnt always happen exactly, but it helps.

When I enter my snacks in SP, I enter them in order of when I will eat them. I can generally make sense of which snack is which. Thats the best I can do with SP on tracking times and snacks. =)

I agree with everything you said. Some times I go back and look at previous days and I get confused as to when I ate what (especially the snacks) And weekends don't always fall in to a breakfast, lunch, and dinner format for me either.

I've been keeping a separate food journal (in excel, actually) listing each time I eat, with each food and the calories every day. It helps me make sure I'm spreading my calories well, and it's helpful to go back and look at how long it took me to get hungry after eating certain things.

But it's kind of a pain to enter all my foods twice - once in excel so I can keep track of times, and once in the food tracker to make use of the awesome nutritional analysis. If there was a way to enter the time (like an optional "time" blank spot next to the breakfast/lunch/dinner/snack input box on the "add a food" page) and then a little extra column to the left of the foods eaten list on the tracker, that'd be perfect!

It would definately help me out, and it might also help other people who are eating 5-6 smaller meals throughout the day - our meals don't fit perfectly into bfast/lunch/dinner/snack - 'snack' ends up being huge, with a midmorning, mid-afternoon, and evening snack all mixed in together.

Thanks for considering my suggestion - does anybody else agree?
