I agree as well. I would love to have a place to track fruits and veggies. We should get a spark point for every fruit or veggie eaten.

I am all in too with the fruits and veggie tracker. I added that as one of my "other goals" to track but I forget to go to that page to track that information. Having the ticker like the water on the main food page would be great. Or even as the other suggestion, that the food tracker would automatically do it for you would be great too but that would be harder to code into the site because you have to take into consideration all of the manually entered food items, they would have to be manually categorized too so that they would get counted as they are supposed to.

This is a fabulous idea! And think of how often the ones who are following a raw or semi-raw diet will be visiting that tracker! Good weekend to everyone.

Why not use the fruit/veggie emoticons , to represent servings. Those 2 fruits represents the 2 servings of fruit I had this morning.

Someone could start a fruit/veggie tracker thread and we could all post our # servings there...????

I'd like the fruit/veggie tracker as well! I need to pay more attention to that. I added it to my additional goals, but I always have to stop and really think about how many i have had.

That is a great idea Jackie,

but for the meantime, try to set an alarm reminder on your cellular phone or even stick one on the fridge, at least I do that

Also, I would like a reminder to take my vitamin. I know. I'm an adult and I should be able to remember to take a little pill but I forget More often than I remember.

I really suffered recently from this matter cause I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables but I need to really figure out how much am I having.

Also please add the word raw and cooked on them, it would avoid confusion especially potatoes!

I hope the wonderful SP team would notice this conversation and do something because it seems everyone of us needs to either awake on the fruit and veggie intake or either be happy with what accomplishments are made!

Having a fruit and Veggies tracker would be awesome. I dont get near enough and it would sure help break the carb habit! Since I have SP up all day most days on nutrition and can see water, having veggies and fruit there would be a big help.

For example,

There aren't many options of onion types such as French, Spring and white, even not mentioning if boiled for instance.

Potatoes are a big hassle too, I cannot eat raw potatoes? and they are higher in calories when mentioned raw that boiled.

I know that SP would find a relaxing solution!

What about also adding some more herbs and types of teas?

For example, I drink Lemon tea, dandelion, cammomile, jasmine tea, fruit bunch tea and all that is not there?

Some vegetables have to be mentioned as cooked or raw too, with more options would be better.

I've wished for the same thing!! I love fruits and veggies, but sometimes just forget to eat them. The tracker would be a huge help for me as a means of reminding me. The water tracker does the same thing for me. It's invaluable, and the fruit and veggie tracker would be too.

I made this same suggestion to SP a couple of months ago. They said that they would pass it along to see if it was something that they could do.

I thought, better than the water-like tracker, SP could automatically do a fruit and veggie count when yu enter your food into SP. It woul track the 1/2 servings, and tally it for you every day.

Great idea! I have trouble getting in all my fruits and veggies every day. This would be a super visual reminder!
