scalewatched--Interesting question. This New Year I have a new attitude. I have never been so sure I will succeed befor. I'm not sure where it is comming from, but I feel great about all I want to get done this year. Not just the weight. I'm living life better getting out more, like taking the dog to the park near here. I hate to run, so I walk (quickly) and he runs.Can't wait till spring. I think attitude is the key. I overlook the small stuff.

I like your question,
"What are you doing to get better with age?"
(There are so many advantages to having the experience of all this time on the planet.)
-I take long walks with my dogs and find this time awakens those feel good endorphins, allows me time to connect with nature and enjoy the subtle changes and sometimes spectacular ones, along my well worn path.
-Since changing my lifestyle to lose weight I have found dining has many meaningful ways to practice mindfulness.
-I have learned to pick my battles
-I realize I am motivated by Love or Fear and my focus is to chose Love
-My attentiveness to speaking my own mind rather than reflexing is improved
-I am taking good care of myself with awareness that the best way to express myself is to be a good example of what I cherish as important

I am certain there are more...
It would be lovely to see how others answer this question!!!

In 6 days. I need to loose weight and get healthy. I don't want to grow old, fat, and in bad health to boot. How about you? What are you doing to get better with age? How are you doing it?
