| I don't know if anyone else has heard, but Sparkpeople has decided to have a before & after photo contest. The info is available on the forum: What's going on at Sparkpeople. Isn't it great that the people at Sparkpeople listen? Thought all of you would like to know.

I think if we could have them in our profile, that might work out. That way, we could have a little icon next to our name (like community team member, etc.) but it would say, see my pictures! Or Before and After! Etc.
Places like LiveJournal have this type of picture uploading (LJ stores it on their server), and they have restrictions on size of the file, and visual size (pixels).
However, if we could just have html enabled profiles, we could do the old
img src= "http:// mypictures .com/ before.jpg" thing and it would just show up, but load from our own storage area. Livejournal.com also does this. This would save money for Spark, as we wouldn't be taking up their server space.
Not sure how hard it would be, but it's a great idea!

I also think before and after photos would be great, I think it would be a great motivator.

| I think before and after photos would be a great idea. I think it would be a wonderful inspirational tool. For example, let's say you see a before photo of someone who is approximately your size, build,etc.., and then you see an after photo of the improvements that they have made. This would show people who think that they can't do it, people that have succeeded and give them hope and motivation. I believe it would be a wonderful tool to show others they can do it.

| Most of the success stories have a photo of the slim person but we have no visual clue on how they looked before. Not only informative but a great motivator if you guys can change it.

We do have our Success Stories section, where you can read about others' successes and also submit your own story and pictures. You can click here to visit Success Stories.
However, that's a pretty good idea, for us to have something more "informal" where people can post different pictures, we'll keep it in mind!

Any thoughts about having a place where members can post their progress pictures? I've browsed through a lot of fitness sites and some have forums where their members can upload their pictures. I think this would be a great motivational tool...
And if not a before and after forum, maybe just a forum where we can post pictures of ourselves, our pets, families, etc.? Just a thought...
