Traz,
Good info! It's ok if your not over 50 - you will be some day!! I read your profile. I know what you mean about the greasy fatty foods. I crave them sometimes myself. It is hard to stay away.
Have a great day!

I bring in my candy to work. My aunt though keeps any of the plain chocolate candies and melts them, then dips strawberries n' bananas in the chocolate and freezes them. It's a good way to enjoy chocolate without feeling completely guilty, as long as you don't eat a bunch of it!
You could also freeze the candy and then whip it out when you have guests over.
Also, one of the dentists in our area lets people bring in their candy and exchange it for cash.
In any case, have a Happy Halloween!
PS - Eek... I didn't even look at the name of this forum before I replied, just did a search about Halloween and this topic popped up. Oh well.

Taking it to work is a good idea, if it won't tempt you there. My girls are grown so I don't have any coming in. I start loading the kids up when times about up. Luckily, I'm not really tempted by it unless I'm super bored.

That's a tough one! Last year I brought some of it to work. My son is older, so he keeps most of it in his room (thank goodness!). I will munch and munch on it if I see it, soooooo - it has to be out of sight for me. If you are rationing it out to him in small portions, keep it out of site and that might help.
Good luck!! Pam
