Yesterday I was adding a recipe as a meal, and I ran into an error that confused me. I would enter something like 0.125 cups of milk, or 2.75 cups of oatmeal, and a javascript error would pop up telling me I could only enter numeric values. Well, as far as I know, 0.125 and 2.75 are numeric. I ended up having to round off, to .13 and 2.8. If there's a limit on the number of significant digits I can enter, then that's fine, but it would've been nice for the error message to tell me that instead.
