Thanks, I will definately try it. I suupose I use use sweetner instead of the sugar. Have you tried that??

Thanks so much, Dreamweaver -- I may wait a bit before trying it: it's been so cold that I am drinking warm soy milk today, but I know the day will come when a cool cap will taste good.

CAPPUCCINO COOLERS

1 c. warm water
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. instant espresso powder

CAPPUCCINO CREAM:

1/2 c. warm water
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. instant espresso powder
6 ice cubes
Cinnamon

To make iced coffee: Stir together water, milk and espresso powder until dissolved. Set aside.
To make cappuccino cream: Stir together water, sugar, espresso powder until dissolved. Transfer to a blender and mix at a high speed, adding ice cubes one at a time until cream is thick and frothy and smooth. Divide the coffee among four tall glasses. Spoon cream on top. Serve immediately. Serves 4.

I just use extra strong coffee. Recipe came from Cooks.com

Greetings to Dreamweaver and the other Tm's-addicted Canucks! From one TH addicted to all the others, Ice Caps truly are my favourite too! Where I live in Toronto, there are two Tim's within 3 blocks of where I live, and most of my neighbours in my co-op seem never to have heard of coffee makers -- there's a steady stream of them going to Tim's every day -- and I try not to join them.
You're right, Dreamweaver -- they are loaded with sugar and now that I'm drinking my coffee black, an Ice Cap sets my teeth on edge -- but I still love them. Making them at home would be special treat, so I hope you share your recipe!

Tim Horton's ice capps have a lot of sugar in them. I started making my own at home.

I think they are about 250 calories for 10 oz.

It is the cost of the iced caps that keeps me from enjoying them very often. :)

If there is anyone out there from Canada, you will know about Tims fabulous Ice Cappachino's. I have been addicated to them. and they caused me to gain ten pounds. Now I am trying to lose the weight before I go on vaction. Today, I walked 5 miles on the Trend Mill just so I could get an Ice Cap and not blow my diet. I need help to try and stop buying these drinks. I have them using 2% milk rather in then cream.

Any wise of wisdom out there?????
