One of our Message Board threads has inspired a contest, and we hope you’ll want to participate!
Join our contest to find the best “break up” letter to the foods you plan to stop eating! The top 3 entries will be selected and the Community will vote on the winner! This can be a fun activity for the group as well as a motivational tool for you, since a goal gains more power when you put it in writing. Here are the details of the contest:
Entries are due by 12 p.m. EST on Friday, June 17th. Entries must be emailed to jen@sparkpeople.com.
SparkPeople will select the top 3 entries, and we’ll post them on a thread in the Café. Once they are posted, everyone will have an opportunity (June 18-23) to vote for the winner.
The first, second and third place winners will be announced on Friday, June 24th. Prizes include:
1st place: SparkPeople gym bag 2nd place: SparkPeople apron 3rd place: SparkPeople t-shirt
Check out "Breaking up is hard to do" in the SparkPeople Café to see how the idea got started and examples of other letters. Your letter can be funny, serious, short, long- any way you want it to be!
So get thinking and start writing! We can’t wait to see what you all come up with!!
