I just want to emphasize to everyone else that for this TV story, the amount of weight lost is not NEARLY as important as the effect it's had on the rest of your life, either from an improved attitude, confidence, new opportunities, new-found energy, or the ability to chase after other goals. For this story, those things easily 'outweigh' what the scale says.

Wanted to respond to your request regarding the talk show.
I have articulated a couple postings ago(see "Congratulations") that I feel strongly about SparkPeople as both a subscriber and fellow businessman.
An interesting wrinkle here is that, as an actor, I am the former castmember of a television series which I did for three years. From that perspective, it might be useful for an audience to have some familiarity with someone who thinks highly of the program. E-mail me at Kincaid@the-pentagon.com with an e-mail address I can forward my picture and resume to. Also include a contact number.
Speak to you then. Regards.

Great news everyone!! We might have the chance to tell the SparkPeople story on a national daytime talk show!!
DO YOU WANT TO BE PART OF IT? A lot of you have talked about how weight loss and SparkPeople have had a major impact on your entire life, not just on the scale. Those are exactly the kinds of stories that this show is looking for.
This is a great chance to help others and spread that spark! You guys are so good at doing that already, this is the first place I thought of.
If you want to know more about the show or want to share your story, reply to this board and I'll get emailed and get in touch with you. This could be HUGE!
Also, have you met anyone on the boards with a story like this, where they lost weight and it had an impact in other areas of life? I'd love to get in touch with them too.
Thanks! Can't wait to hear all those great stories!! Mike
