| There is a group on here for rebounders Jumping for Joy. They might have some good information. I was using mine, but I have switched to videos for a while, changing things here and there. I looked in the excercise tracking thing and all they had was a regular trampoline. Not sure the counts would be the same.

I use the rebounder at night while watching TV, it's great! Is there any place that gives calories burned for this exercise?

My problem is that I drink coffee too. I have to have my morning coffee. I love to have a cup or two of greeen tea in the afternoon. I used to add honey to it but I've been trying to cut that out lately, just for calories sake....every calorie counts!....Darn it!
Thank you so much for leting me know that I can count my tea as part of my water intake and for the info on green tea.
Keep on Keeping on!

Patty, I recently read on SparkPeople that green tea is excellent for part of the water intake--it seems green tea isn't as dehydrating as once thought. I wonder---oh well green tea rocks!
SparkPeople article says about Green Tea: Green Tea: A great way to start the day instead of coffee, or even black tea, with greater nutritional benefits. Full of antioxidants, green tea actually helps to fight against heart disease and high cholesterol. It also helps to boost the immune system. Unlike coffee, green tea is not a diuretic and will not leave you dehydrated. Yes, it’s lower in caffeine, but served hot it still provides an awakening feeling. With a little honey added, it’s a slightly sweet drink that soothes you. So--Drink up

The only exercise I do at this time is walking. I like to walk in the park but when I can't, I use my treadmill, which I secretly hate LOL.
I might get a rebounder because with winter coming it will be hard to walk outside. I lose my balance on the treadmill and have to hold on to the handles and I can't really swing my arms like I'd like to.
The rebounder I used to have had springs also. They must be making them different now. I'll have to check them out.
I drink at least 64 ounces of water a day and usually manage about 72. I guess I should be getting at least 86 ounces a day.I keep trying to drink more but that seems to be as much as I can handle right now.I'll keep trying for more. Does green tea count?. I'm glad you have an exercise you can do without it causing you pain. Pain is NOT a good thing!
Keep up the Good Work!
Thank you for the information.

It is the only aerobic exercise I can do, even walking outdoors is hard on my knees. My joints and back have problems (fibromyalgia and spinal disease) but the mini-rebounder is so easy on these conditions. I can actually run on the rebounder and not have pain. I really get up a sweat. I have purchased a rebounder DVD that is kinda hokey--so I just do bouncing, jumping jacks, keeping my arms in motion---and jogging. I've never been able to keep going for the full 20 minutes I have pledged to do, though. So I break it up--not as effective but better than just 5 minutes. I hope to finally be able to get the full 20-30 minutes in motion. I got my rebounder at Toys R Us--years ago--it has springs, not straps--and has been through my 7 kids and still works. Now that they are finished with it (as a toy) I plan to use it myself for health. After I lose weight and get healthier--maybe I will be able to do more aerobically. I firmly believe in drinking at least 1/2 ounce of water for every pound of body weight. That has REALLY helped me these past two months.

Funny that you should ask. I was just thinking about getting one. I had one a few years ago and gave it to my granddaughter. I was remembering how easy it is on the joints.
Do you have one and if so, how does it work for you?
I almost never used the one I had before. It mostly just collected dust.

Does anyone use rebounding as part of your fitness program?
