| Keep it up for sure, like Okiepapa said, what other choice do you have. Every day is a step in the right direction. One more step toward your goal and every day wasted is a day standing still or worse going backward. Eight pounds is very good. Keep your spirits up and moving forward you can do this.

Hi, Sharon
R offered some good advice. It looks from your tracker like you've lost 8 pounds in about 3 weeks or so? Those are very good results...are you expecting more than that?

You have the personal reward every time you make a choice for your betterment. If you keep your goal in mind you can consider doing all the right things to be great practice towards cultivating an improved lifestyle. I start every day by writing down (See: Staying Motivated forum 'September Gratitudes 2006') Five things I am grateful for....cultivating an attituded of gratitude is transformative. Best of success to you Sharon.

Feeling a bit down because I have been sticking to the calories and exercises but it doesnt seem like Iam losing anymore weight. Tomorrow is weigh in day, but there doesnt seem to be any difference. I even refused a piece of my own Birthday cake, Iam frustrated. how long does it take to notice any differences? How do you keep your spirits up when you work so hard with no results? Thanks Sharon
