Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the encouragement. It certainly does feel wonderful to be able to wear smaller sizes (which was one of my goals).
I seldom toot my own horn; but, realized - from reading other members comments - that their successes were motivating me. So, hopefully mine will motivate some people as well.

| Congrats for putting on small sizes again, that must feel wonderful! Also congrats to Yamahanna (sp?) I think that is such a beautiful tribute that you were able to do that 10K, great time too!! I notice that you have come far & are approaching your goal, how does that feel? You must be so proud!

You're welcome. There are 100% preshrunk cotton and seem to run large. I ordered a large and should have ordered a small.

Hi Dave,
Today I created a topic named "Sparkpoints Trophy" in the group "achieving success with determination" and somehome there is a member that didn't know what I was talking about when I spoke about the trophy ladder. I tried to explain to her about the "Today on Sparkpeople" column at the right of the screen but she doesn't seem to have. I didn't understand and I said that I would try and find out but guess what? I was at the office at that time and now I just came home and I don't have the "Today on Sparkpeople" column...Am I going crazy??

Mine is a short sleeved t-shirt. But everything is too big on it. I don't think I could alter it enough to be able to wear it in public. Oh well, I'm not complaining because it does make a very nice night shirt.

I wanted the blue one. And yesterday I said I ordered one size to large; but, after I tried it on decided it is two sizes to large. So, I wore it as a nightshirt. I really hope I'll win another one someday.

GOT2BTHINNER: If you haven't been walking much don't do too much at start. If your legs bother you just slow down a bit and walk the soreness out. When I started I could only walk to the end of the street and back. When I could do that comfortable I added on to that walk. I have been at it since June 05.
Thanks every one for the encouagement. I am sore today but feel great.

I MADE IT!!! 10K walk in 115 minutes. I think that is something. There were a lot there that were smaller than I that didn't make it. It was hot and my legs feel it now but do I ever feel GREAT!! I walked for my Dad, who died years ago, for my nephew only 39 yrs old who died in November and his father my brother in law who died in June. I know that they would be proud of me for doing this. Last year I would never have been able to do this. My daughter did great to, she ran it. I am so proud of her. She is almost to her goal.
I will put some pictures up when I get them.
