I will read some of the articles in the Resource Center today. I love salads, but I have found you have to be careful what you put on them. Restaurants today are very accomodating in the way you ask for your food to be prepared. The bad thing for me is timing. I find I am working when I need to eat and my time gets all out of whack for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I will have to come up with a plan for that one. I think I will pack a couple of apples or some fruit to eat for the times my schedule throws me off. Good luck and thanks for the good advice and encouragement. I need it!

You are so welcome, I was just reading some of the articles at the Nutrional Resource Center and there are some very useful tips for "Dining Out" Being a vegetarian it is sort of easy to find the good choices even though they are limited when dining out with my man who is a meat lover. Keep sparkling with that winning attitude!

| Thanks so much for the good advice. I know the longer I am into the program, the easier it will become. There are some good choices in some restaurants, and I can make sure to go for the healthier ones.

Welcome FranLewis, Really wanting a goal is the first step to reaching it....so congratulations. You are on the right path knowing that you want to go the whole way. Eating while traveling can be more of a challenge just as restaurant dining close to home takes more discipline. When you start making good choices at home it will be easier to make good choices when you are traveling. The Resource Center has wonderful articles on dining out. I wish you success!

I'm 52, travel about once or twice a month on my job and I have to eat out. There are so many restaurants with good food and the company pays. It is hard. I have 100 to lose. I have just started, and I know my hours to eat and what I eat on the weeks I travel will be the hardest part, as well as getting the discipline to exercise when I am on the road. I really need to go the whole way and lose this weight.
I have been heavy most of my life, and I want it off. I would love a team of support, as I need and would like to give encouragement, tips, and good wishes!
