You can either use the plans we've provided, or you can click Don't Show Meal Plans and just track your own food. Whatever works best for you is fine to do.

Jen I just started to do this and I'm trying to get it to make my menus day by day is it possible r do I have to decide what to it.

If you go to Add a Food and click the Favorites tab, you should be able to click on a favorite and then it gives you an option to add it to the tracker.

Jan, I added a few foods to my favorites now how do i get them into th e menu of today. YOu send me the shredded wheat very often,and i wont eat that. I like cheerios etc. I see you have gobs of cereals, but i just cant seem to get them into the meal plan. do i have to erase all the menu and then what? i Started my program with you end of june. i Had wanted to lose some wt by sept for my 50th class reunion.........i guess i will go fat. ha Julie(gr'maJ)

How long have you been on our program? Sometimes it takes at least a few weeks to start seeing results, so try to be patient. It sounds like you're on the right track.

my points are 12 to 1500/. i found th e other foods when i went to the place you add a food. so Im feeling better about it. The things you put in are good ideas yes,and im glad you are doing that. I used to be on WW. I have been on it for 6 weeks, then tried a 1000 cal diet. and now im trying this. I guess my metabolism like My Dr told me is very low,and so i can not lose wt. I exc in the local pool in aq class 2 hrs about every day. But the scale will not move. any suggestions. Yes i know how to eat,and with th ehelp of your menus, which are getting better now..........are helping me. but i still can not lose.

Based on your calorie range, there are a certain number of meals created to get you into your range for the day. So it doesn't use all of those 10,000 foods. You should have more than Peanut Butter and jelly and flank steak on your plan, but it's not an endless number of meals. If you click on an item in your plan that you don't want, it will bring up a list of other items for you to choose from, so maybe that will help.

We don't feel that the point of this program is to tell you what to eat. It's to help you learn to make good choices for yourself so that this becomes a lifestyle change and not a diet.

Jen, I do not wish to erase the menus from you. I want to know how to work them. I am sure other ppl do not get the same menu every other day saying p nut butter and jelly and flank steaks. Why do I and where are the 10,000 items that you say you have for me to pick from? I only see the same pages over and over,when i want to change a food you have me listed for...........The whole point of this diet is to get you to tell me what to eat. but in the sam e time i want to add like a 3 oz Beef Burger, a nectarine , Butter Beans, lima. etc. I guess im not allowed to do that tho huh

Gr'maj,

If you go to your My Home page (at the top of this page), and click Meal Planner, you'll come to the food tracker. Click the button at the top right that says "Don't Show Meal Plans". Then you'll have a blank tracker where you can enter your own foods. Click Add a Food at the top left, and you can search for the foods you want to enter and add them to your tracker.

i get the same menu sent to me day in an d day out. and i did not pick the foods. i started and re started this stupid diet. so many times maybe i should just stop.......i sure dont get how to do a menu .....i want them to pick my food. but id like to have some hamburgers or nectarines and diff things then just pbj sanw.and flank steak.
so tell me in plain lang. ha im a sr citz. remember. we dont get it all right off the bat.........i work at the little pool in town,,,,,,,stown usa. we have aqusize class 2 hrs a day. i try to get into town for that. bht i hate coming home to a pbj sandw. when other ppl are eating meat............signme down in the pit.......gr'maj
