| HI THANKS FOR YOUR HELP, I AM EXCITED ABOUT THIS PLAN AND IT ALLOWS ME TO GO SLOW AND BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR MY ACTION AND WHAT I PUT IN MY MOUTH (EVERYTHING)I DON'T FEEL PUSH BECAUSE I PAID $ AND MY TIME WILL UP SOON.

Good for you for deciding to do this at your own pace! I stayed on the first level for a month, just recording and observing what I *had* been doing, and then beginning to modify it. I've been on Step 2 for several weeks -- maybe even 2 months. I'm taking baby steps. Now I drink 8 or more glasses of water nearly every day, and am working on establishing a strength training routing 3x per week. I'm far more aware of what I eat and when, but have a ways to go there to stay within my calorie range while getting an appropriate level of nutrients.
So hang in there. Don't be thrown if you aren't perfect right away -- or even ever! This is a process, with the goal of life changes. It took us many years to get this way, and may take a few more to get completely back on track.

| HI PATTY YES!!! I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO FELT THAT WAY. I WANT IT RIGHT NOW NO MATTER WHAT, AND IF I CAN'T HAVE IT THAT WAY. WHY CONTINUE. THIS IS NOT THE BEST WAY TO LIVE,BECAUSE I END UP WITH NOTHING. AM LEARNING TO TAKE SMALL STEPS AND ENJOY WHERE I'M AT NOW AND TAKE IT SLOW SO I CAN KEEP WHAT I HAVE GAIN. THIS IS NOT EASY.PLEASE WRITE BACK WE CAN DO THIS.

| Hi, Judith. I understand completely about wanting to regain control. I'm the same way, and have recently discovered that my need for "control" is probably why I have an "all or nothing" attitude. So I'm one of those people who gives up if I don't follow a diet to the letter. I'm trying very hard to not throw in the towel when I'm not perfect. Is this what you mean? Are you the same way?

HI MY NAME IS JUDITH, AM LEARNING A LOT ABOUT MYSELF AND HOW MUCH I HAVE BEEN OUT OF CONTROL. I CHOSE TO NOT TO MOVE TO PHASE 2 BECAUSE I WAS NOT READY. AM ALL OVER THE PLACE. I MUST GAIN CONTROL. SPARKPEOPLE IS A BLESSING FOR ME. UNLIKE ANY OTHER DIET SMILE I VEIW IT AS A WAY OF LIFE AND NOT A SHORT TERM. THIS ALLOWED ME TO GO AT MY PACE NOT SOMEONE ELSE. AND I AM CHANGING INSIDE AND OUT.
