When we drove from Calif. to Texas back in March, dh and I also lost weight, even though we ate well, because of all the walking I guess. We made a point to walk an hour before bedtime too, so it does help. California does not have "Cracker Barrel" restaurants, and thank heavens they had lots of salad with protein choices!! lol But I did have one of their chocolate desserts twice too. It's hard to come back to harsh reality though. dh is diabetic, so we don't keep foods we can't have in the house at all, so that helps. I wish you continued success!!! It all takes it's own sweet time though.

Now this is my experience. I just came home from a ten day trip on the road. I lost five pounds! Does that mean that if I just continue on the road I can lose 1/2 pound a day? I don't think so. It was so easy not to snack when there was nothing around, and I carefully avoided buying anything for car-eating. Also the stimulation of seeing new sights, new activities, kept me from obsessing about what to cook (alas, I love to cook). Now I am home, I grit and teeth and say keep it up girl, wait for the hunger to come as you did on the road. Well, maybe!
