We have a rat terrier that we adopted from the pound. she is a pistol and earns her keep catching the occasional vermin before breakfast.

Cats are my favorite pets. My daughter's cat has been with me for over a year. She's coming back for him someday? He quite the cat. He has some personality. I can't stay sad for very long he comes to me and comforts me. Love them cats but if I want to go on vacation what do I do with the cat. I have to stop the addition.
I have some success with weight loss so maybe now with cat loss?

Three cats here. Zoe is 13, mostly black tho as she ages more white creeps in. One blue eye, one green eye. Kirby is about 9, part siamese, has all the colors but in the wrong places. Blue eyes that look right thru you. We had MalcolmXJohnLennonPuddyPuddyPal2, he was 16 passed away last Sept. In Nov we went to PetsMart and saw this kitten that was a miniature version of Malcolm. So now we have MXJLPPP3, and he is a joy. Who needs tv? He terrorizes Zoe and Kirby I do regret that, but he is a love and so fun. He's just a long haired stripped tabby... the prior Malkie was over 20 lbs (down to 9 by the time we had him euthanised), don't know if this guy will get that big. Oh, btw, hubs is allergic to cats and is on three meds so we can have our kids. Ain't that love?

Reading about all your pets was a joy. I have always been an "animal" person. Presently I have two dogs--Honey and Bandit. Bandit is 14 years old, a mixed shepherd and Collie, neutered, 65 lbs. Honey is a german shepherd, 6 yrs., spayed, 65 lbs. They are mostly outdooor dogs, but spend evenings and nights inside with me. They are wonderful companions. Bandit understands everything I say and I also think he reads my mind. When in the house he stays wrapped around my feet. He is getting weak from arthritis in the back and hips, and getting meds for that, but it is getting progressively worse. Trying to prepare my mind for when I eventually lose him. Honey is a loving, gentle creature that we rescued from an abusive situation. At first she resented Bandit, but has finally accepted her spot as Second-Dog and heir-apparent.
Had a cat, Godzilla, but some kid with a new BB gun shot him last year. He bled to death before I found him. He was 11 years old and quite a character. I still miss him. Thinking about another cat, but have probably reached saturation point on financially caring for another animal. Thanks for letting me share.

You are right, your daughter can come visit the cat.
Don't take her away from her home and friends.
They know more than we give them credit for.
Yesterday a Geep turned around in the drive way. The Geep looked and may sounded almost like my daughter Geep, Sunny my daughters dog, whined instead of barking at the Geep...
I called her to tell her what happen. Sunny thought that Michelle was comming to see her.. Then the Geep left with out stoping. That was up setting for Sunny.

Our cat and dog will soon be separated.
When my daughter marry's she is taking her cat.
The cat is jealous of the fiannce' so....
I say leave the cat here and get a kitten so it will become custom to the both of them.
Besides I think the cat and dog will miss each other.

My daughters ferit, she told her boy friends hamburger, what funny watching him chase the ferit, to get the hamburger back. ( was in the rapper.)

We have a crazy cat named Blink. She is gray and not very big for an adult cat. She can be cuddly one minute and evil the next. We never expected to be so attached to a cat as we are to her. She is an indoor cat and sometimes she runs from one end of the house to the other at full tilt. That's the crazy Blink. She is good company.

Yesterday I was busy in the house I had let the dog out to play. After a bit, I heard my yellow cat Jenny crying, sounded as if she was dying. I walked into the living room saw her looking out at Sunny and the other cats playing. She was up set because she wasn't a part of the four sum. Was so cute I opened the door she shot out, to join the group, happly she followed the group around the yard .

My daughter just bought a ferit. It is a cute little guy. Named it Zeek.. what a name.
They like him.

At one time, we were blessed with 5 wonderful dogs.
Disease and old age took three so now we are
enjoying the last two. Smokey and Peanut are
pound puppies as were all our animals. They are
litter mates. We adopted them when they were 6
months old from the Humane Society. They will
soon be 11. Smokey has allergies and Peanut
is blind and crippled from arthritis. Getting old like us! They are wonderful companions and we are fortunate to have them share our lives.

| I have a great dog name Rocco. He is a year old and is a black lab. I should of named him Shadow because he follows me everywhere even to the bathroom. He sleeps on the floor in his doggy bed at night next to me. This was his first year for snow. He loves it and lays in it every chance he gets. He is a great friend but gets the house dirty. I guess he helps me burn more calories by cleaning up his hair and mud.

| Hi, Doggie Day Care is at my vet's goes at 800am until you can pick them up as late as 700pm. They play with other dogs, chase, play ball and go for a walk in the park. A lot of people use it to drop off on the trip to work and pick up on the trip home at night. So they are not at home tearing up everything. I go only one time in about 2-3 weeks. So I can run places, so they get to see other dog, good social teaching. It's about $12 for a day each.

Hey, hope you are having a good month. I have been on and off my plan.
My puppy Angel is, waiting for my daughter Jeanna and her sister to come home from the dog shows in San Francisco and Sacramento CA. Hopefully with ribbons.
Ehco won second place the last time she was in a show. Angel is to small for show, has good colors. but just to small.

If it is a good one, they play and walk, run with the dogies.
They keep the dogs feed and clean & loved.
I need to give my dog a bath, but it has been cold the last two weeks. The cats need bathed also. Come the nice weather. May do that. If I am brave enough. Last year my Sassy got into a bed of fleas she had a real hard time. The other cat were find. But we doctored everyone, whether they needed it or not
Angel, Sleeps with me, Sunny is to big lays on my legs when she is on the bed,then I can't move.
Plus she sheds.
Have to give her a bath also and a good brushing.

I have 3 dogs, Lacie my Lhasa Apso is spoiled rotten, Cody my collie/Australian shepherd mix is my "watch dog" and Shasta my cocker/poodle mix is a dear, sweet even tempered marvelous little guy!! I have two cats, brother and sister, Tuffy and Tara.......they are simply beautiful, he with his bright blue eyes and Siamese colored coat, she with her emerald eyes and pure white coat.......and last but not least, I have Buster, my Beta fish who cutely wiggles up to the glass of his bowl each morning waiting to be fed.
They are all my wonderful friends and companions......keeping me company, watching out for the house and any intruders (except Buster) but he would if he could.........

| Hi, I have this big dog laying under my desk now as I write, He is my big baby, Ben is a rottweiler,super size at 132 bls. 4 years old. He had hip and eye surgery. Joints are bad, but he goes for small walks, he always wants to be in front. My other dog is a goldendoodle ( golden retriever / poodle she was 1 in January. Jeri (jerry) around 60/65 bls. Runs like the wind, always putting her butt in the other dogs face, so he doesn't get her toys, but just to play with him see what I have. They go even place with me. They love to go to Dogie day care to be around other dogs. How do do you like the names Ben and Jeri?

We have a dog and a cat.
Mitzi our dog is 4 years old. She is across between a Multese and a Shiztu, she is black and white.
Smoky our cat is 9 years old. He is a Heinz 57  He is a smoky grey color with white paws and on his tummy, plus a white mustache that that looks like left over milk.
Smoky will be moving out with my daughter. If he settles in to the new place....I plan to get a male canary, but will wait and see if he will be brought back home.

We have a dog and 2 cats.
Molly is a 6 month border collie. We got her when she was 6 weeks old.
Callie is about 15 years old. She is a beautiful calico. Puffy (aka Trouble) is about 3. He is an all-white cat who happens to be deaf. He is not afraid of anything which is quite a contrast to Callie who is afraid of everything. He and Molly are great buddies.
And, if that isn't enough, we often have our daughter's 2 black labs. (She goes away every other weekend.) We love our animals.
