SWALKERE -
You can edit your food amounts/times eaten in your food tracker. All you have to do is click on the food name and an edit box will come up. I've had to do this many times after accidentally entering a food without changing the mealtime from the previous day! Hope this helps!

Swalkere,
Yes, I've had to do that a number of times myself! I'd like to see that too.

I would like to see 'edit' functionality on the nutrition tracker. The only thing we can do is delete a food item; however, how many times do you plan on eating a whole baked potato (for example!) but then only eat 1/2 of it!? As it stands, we can only delete the food choice, re-search for it, change the amount you had...which sometimes entails searching on the Internet to see how many grams are in an ounce or pound...and then FINALLY re-click that 'add' button!
What to y'all think?

| BOHEMMIENE, I too have suffered the frustration with entering recipes. I wish we could edit easier. I've seen a number of recipes in Splurge on this one once in a while category. I'm really not comong to SP to look for splurge recipes, I have plenty of those on my own!

This is too funny - I just came across this thread, after searching high and low for someone to email at Spark People to ask to whom I should submit suggestions, LOL!
I absolutely love all the features offered, and the community, and that it's all FREE! That said, I have to say that I find that it is more time-consuming for me than it should be to do all the things I do here because I have to hunt and "click" on so many places to get where I need to go or enter information.
For instance: when I was adding my strength training exercises, from the SP generated program, I had to view them, click on them individually and wait for them to load each time. It would have been great to just have a check box next to each one so I could check each one I did and have them all added to my workout page at one time. It's been taking me at least 15 minutes just to TRACK my exercises. This is time that I could be using to exercise!
Also, I switched to my own exercise program and added my own exercises to my workout, but..
* it didn't show me a list of what it already contained (so I couldn't remember if I put in an exercise already or not) * nor is it modifiable if I made a mistake or want to edit the workout when I go up to 3 sets instead of 2 (which will be shortly), so I will have to hand enter every single exercise all over again. * I added the work out in error, and I couldn't delete any of them because I got an error message that said "once you check an exercise as complete, it can't be undone." But it wasn't my intention to add the workout to that day! (see my fitness record on 3/5 if you'd like)
* Also, I took 20 minutes to enter a recipe (because I hand entered the nutrition info for several ingredients) and found that I forgot to enter the number of servings before I saved it, - so it came up as 2000 calories per serving instead of 260! But I couldn't go back in to edit it so I'd have to do it all over again.

| I'd like to see better rotation in the article on the SP mailers/newsletters. I try to read the articles, but how many times do I need to read "The real benefits of Iron"

I am also looking for the suggestion box. Why not make it a sticky topic here in the tech section.
My suggestion is: I am using my own strength exercises, and thanks for making that possible, but would it also be possible to put a "check mark" box in there so that I can check off the exercises that I have completed (like there was a check mark in the SP suggested strength training).
KUDOS to all the engineers, I really like the features of the site. Well done!
Thanks, HD

| Hey I have met my goals in weight loss, not by following anything people say on this site though.I found a way to eat all you want as long as it is raw food, which is all I eat now. I became a raw foodist and lost all my access fat, it was un belevable! I am not trying to tell you to become a raw foodist but you should eat more raw things in your diet than cooked things because of enzymes. Enzymes are what your body uses to digest and break down fat. Maybe you should look up some things about raw foodism to get some tips on how to get your nutrents flowing, i have been a raw foodist for four months now and never felt better. Just eat more veggies and fruits and see where your weight loss goes, its crazy! Ask me any questions you want, I will answer them freely

| Speaking of suggestions, I think it would be GREAT if we could comment on individual posts and start separate threads, like they do at livejournal.com. Often a comment gets VERY lost in a long stream of posts and never gets the attention it deserves.

| I think a separate Suggestion Box is a great idea!

Thanks for the suggestion. I will pass it along.

| I'm not sure if everyone will agree with this, but I'll throw it out there. I was looking for a suggestion box to submit my ideas, but couldn't find it. I didn't know it was included under the "What's Up at SparkPeople" forum section because the name of this section didn't really clue me in. I wonder if it would be better to have a separate forum section that is clearly labeled "Suggestion Box." Also, that way all the suggestions would be collected together and would not be mixed up with posts from people needing technical help, asking questions, etc.
