Thanks! I hadn't thought about just "cheating" and using the cardio option to manually enter the calories.
Greatly appreciate the quick response.

Kitty,
As far as the calories burned goes, you could manually set your calories burned goal to include your strength training. Then when you track that, you could go to Add Cardio and manually add calories burned- and just put in that number and label it strength training. That should give you the right information.
Yes, your recommended calorie range does take your exercise into account. For more detail on exactly how your range is calculated, you can go to Calorie Calculation 101 at the bottom left in the Nutrition Resource Center.
Hope that helps!

First I want to say that I really like the new features that have been added recently. The progress bar is a great motivator!
One feature I would love to see added is a way to manually enter calories burned during strength training. I use a heart rate monitor (and I'm sure I'm not the only one on here who does) and know my calories burned for each 60 minute session. I'd like to be able to track that along with the calories burned during cardio. Yes it's a nice bonus to have that on top of meeting the cals burned for the week for just the cardio, but I have no way to record, report or track it. If it was a manual option - then those who want to use it can. I was told if I knew how many calories I burn during the week to put it in on my diet goals. That justs sets my calories burned limit to what I put in and that's not of any help to me. If I'm already burning X amount of calories, then wouldn't I want to burn more than that?
Also, is there some correlation between calorie limits in the meal program and the calories burned in the fitness program? My trainer said the goal is to have 1200 calorie "balance" for the day. So like a checking account you subtract and add calories consumed and burned and make sure that at the end of the day the balance is 1200 (or whatever your desired calorie limit is). Just curious.
Still loving the site and really having fun with the new features. It just gets better and better!
