Hi Jan - I'm having a great week - just looked at my calorie total and I still need to find something else to eat - what a great feeling! I even got my 30 minutes on the treadmill in although it was really hot by the time I got home. Mornings are so much better for me as an exercise time.
Monday is my weigh in day - I'm actually looking forward to it.. now to get through the weekend.
I started knitting again to help give me something to do while I watch tv with my husband - it has cut down on the snacking considerably.

LindaK thank you for your well wishes. I too wish you the best of luck with your efforts this time. Yes it's hard to believe that I'm in my fifties too, lol. Let our goal be a Fit Fantastic Full of energy Fifty. Bye for now Jan

Yep, those 50's creep up on us, don't they, just like the pounds. I'm only three days back into SP, but it feels so good and right! I need to keep it up this time (health problems were a real setback for me this winter and spring). I have the summer to get some serious habits re-established and I'm working very hard to make it work for me.

Im 52 only realized last week that I was in the "obese" side of the weight gain chart. What a shock!!!, but hey it,s only been a week and I am feeling so much better in myself. I'm sleeping better and I have more energy from eating healthier and doing some exercise. I haven't eaten junk food for a week. I feel very confident that I can achieve my goal of 65kgs (from Australia) SPARKPEOPLE have given me the support and motivation I need. A HUGE thank you to everyone on this site.
