| How come SparkPeople doesn't have plans to have a "non dairy" or vegan option? I'm a vegan. Many people are lactose intolerant. It would be nice to in the menu feature to be able to substitute rice milk or soy milk for regular milk. Just like regular milk, soy and rice milk come with fortified vitamins.

We've had this suggestion several times (including from me, a former vegan), but we do not have any plans to add this in the near future.
You can however enter all your own foods and substitute animal-free products for the suggestions, or even turn off the meal plans completely.

| oh my goodness, haha...i just asked this question, too! im going to also try to contact the website about getting that added on there. i was surprised they didnt have a no dairy option with all the vegans and lactose intolerant people out there. there isnt even a non dairy option when you click for substitutions!

| Are there plans to include a vegan meal plan in the options? The vegetarian plan is a good start, and I like the "no eggs" option. Even a "no dairy" checkbox would be very helpful.
