Don't feel bad...what matters most is that you can start again! We all do it..fall off and pick ourselves back up and start again. Keep track of your calories and how many you burn during the day...I used to think that I was consuming alot less than I actually was. What an eye opener when I started calculating what I was really eating during the day!
I started trying to lose weight in December..and I am only down 19 pounds....but I AM DOWN 19 pounds!!! YAY!! Hang in there! You CAN do it! Lori

| Amen to what Chochi said! I'm in the middle of a "slump" myself, but I've been there before and I know it'll end...I just have to give myself some time.

Hi Dominique11,
First, don't beat yourself up. We all go off track from time to time. The important thing to do is get back on track, drink your water, exercise and you will see the weight loss.
You are not doing anything wrong and shouldn't compare your weight loss to others. There are so many different things that can have an effect on a person's weight loss.
A healthy weight loss is anywhere from ½ to 1 pound per week. If you've lost 2-4 lbs in a month you are doing fantastic. Slower weight loss leads to permanent losses. Remember this is a lifestyle change and the easier it gets as time goes by.
Please don't concentrate on the scale they are only numbers. I know for myself I feel better physically, have more energy, I make better food choices, and these are the things I am concentrating on instead of weight loss. The bonus here is I lose weight while getting healthy. A win-win situation.
Try using other methods to determine your weight loss, measure yourself, do your clothes feel looser? The scale is only one method of tracking weight loss.
I would suggest reading a few of the articles in the Resource Center.
Take care and remember slow and steady wins the race.
