I like to create a side dish, which technically is probably not Italian but here it is ~

~ Your favorite fresh vegetables, cut into bite size pieces
yellow onion, green pepper, cucumber, tomato, zucchini, yellow squash or other
~ 1 cup halved black olives
~ 1 pkg rotini pasta, cooked
~ Wishbone's Italian dressing, add to taste (The low fat version works well)
~ garnish with grated parmesan cheese
Chill and serve YUM! An excellent companion to a cookout.

This is from a thread started by my friend Elena from Italy called healthier Italian dishes wanted. This one would work for a picnic. Thanks Lavendergrace!

I forgot to add...I'm also having the Morning Star Farms and Boca Burgers (Soy and Veggie). They are great for cutting out fat and calories too for those who aren't meat eaters.
