Hi Lori,

I am so sorry.(((hugs)))I will say a prayer for your sister-in-law. It's at these times the Lord does test us but we know He is there to support us as well. It is good that she has a strong faith because that's what gets us through the most difficult times and family.

Take Care,
Chouchi

CHOUCHI- Thankyou...he was my brother in-law. My sister in-law had lost her only son only 6 years ago, so it is a difficult time for her. She is a strong woman, but one wonders how much one person can handle. She has a very strong faith, and I am sure that will pull her through.
Thanks again,
Lori

Hi Everyone,

Bless all of the young men and women serving overseas for our Countries. May God Protect them all and bring them home safely. We are all very proud of you.

Also for the many more that have paid the ultimate price, their lives. Thank you for giving us Countries where we can feel safe and secure.

I am Canadian and we have many of our soldiers overseas at this time, we have had many young men lose their lives in the past few months and one young woman. Our Veterans Day is in Nov when we give thanks to all those who served past and present.

God Bless Our Countries †

OLDREDROSIE please accept my condolences.

Enjoy and celebrate your Memorial Day!

strong tradition here: dad and uncle in Army during WWII (uncle killed in France); uncle by marriage was AF in WWII; husband (Vietnam) and son (Iraq the first time) were Navy. My son-in-law is proudly serving in the AF state-side (thank goodness) right now. (I'm an old Navy nurse from the Vietnam era). And I'm proud to say that I still stand & put my hand over my heart when the flag passes by and I cry when I hear the Star Spangled Banner.

My father (Korean War), husband (Vietnam) and youngest son were all in the Navy. My son's time was up six months before the Twin Towers were hit. I was so grateful that he was safe and at home. My heart goes out, however, to all the Mom's and Dad's who have children overseas. Thank you a million times over for protecting and serving our country.

God Bless them all - hats off to all who are currently defending our nation and keeping us free. And a huge "thank you" to all those who have paid the price so that you and I can have our freedom!
