Hello,
thank you all so much, the last 2 days with all your support and kind words help me a lot and I think I be back on track, was swimming for one hour and than making my athritis class with water exercise for an other hour. Also I just eat 1200 calories a day right now and will wait some days before I go on the scale.Wish you all a very good and blessed day with a lot of success,

Marita: You are very welcome! Dieting and life style changes can be hard...and while it takes diligence the Spark Plan is one that makes sense. You can eat basically what you want but not a lot of it--you have to be sensible in your choices.

Good luck --and let me know how you are doing.

ps....it sneaks up on you! I had only lost about 4 lbs and was a little discouraged. then I put on a pair of slacks that were usually snug...and the waist fell almost to my hips!!! I DID THE HAPPY DANCE! and I quit judging my progress by the scale...and started going on how good I felt, how much better my clothing fit. best of luck

You can do it Marita! I wouldn't worry about the "kick"...as others have said, look at it as a life style change and go from there. the first time someone says "there's something different about you..what IS it??" you'll perk right up. but each day you'll just plain feel better and THAT'S a kick!!

Don't look at it as dieting but as a life style change, stay within your cal.range eat healthy, and the weight will come off.It can take longer than a fad diet, but by eating healthy and right cals.your making the right choises to improve your health, not just your weight.YOU CAN DO THIS.

You know Marita I hear what you are saying BUT stick with it...even if you feel you aren't losing. It's healthier. I had lost almost 30 pounds and even put a few back on --but I'm still getting compliments how
good I look. For the most part I feel great! Don't give up--just keep going--don't think of it as a diet but a life style change. Give yourself some slack...maybe you're dieting too much. Just stick with it and you'll see --people will start noticing something different about you.

I wonder always when I see reports in some yournals and people lose so much and stay like that. They say, there have to be a kick what comes and than you can do it.I diet all my life and never have the patience to get the kick.Even for exercise, they say after you do it for a while it come fun,I just do it now for near two month but must fight with myself to get up in the morning evryday. Also I want to live healthy but when I think about that I dont can eat what I want or all my favorite food make me fat,I ask myself if there is something wrong with me.Right now I must diet and exersise because of health problems and I try my very best, count calories,go exercise 5 times a week, have not lose much weight and be frustrated. They say muscle build up and than you lose even more, but where are the muscle or better how long it takes to build up.I know it sound all very negativ but normal I am a happy and optimistic person, but since nothing change even when I try so hard that makes me feel down.I wish I had a buddy here, work out together but I dont know where to find somebody because I am new in S CA,have somebody any idea? Thanks for taking your time and reading this and hope some other people have the same problems, that I know I am not so alone with that all.Have a great day and much success,
Marita
