Hello there I will be getting on the scale on Monday.
Been a while since I have weighted in.

Another 5 pounds that is great.

I am up about 4 pounds. 339 That is alot less than I thought. So I guess that is a plus, with all the partying, and family get to gathers, lot's of food for about a month.. I feel alot better, even though I have a gain.

Since I haven't been in here for awhile, I must say I have kept up with my healthier eating habits and squeezing in exercise where I can several times aweek.

Been weighing in regularly on my home scale. This friday down another 5 lbs......40lb.'s to go till I reach my goal weight. Yahoo!

On Thursday I weighted in at 335 Wow that was great to me. Been over a year since I was that low in weight. Was 348 on Monday, water weight build up.

Kathi,

One pound lost is a lot. Next time you're at the
grocery store, stop by the meat counter and have
the butcher show you how much a pound of hamburger
is. Or, look at a one pound bag of sugar or flour.
For each pound down, your heart has one mile less
of veins to pump blood through. You have nothing
to be disappointed about!

I just joined 12 days ago - Aunt Bee - you have done one terrific job of dumping some weight! Good for you. I've lost 3 lbs since joining. I love tracking what I eat every day - what an eye opener -and maybe I didn't want to see that! I like this site though.

Have stayed on my diet fairly well but have been drinking my water as much as I should. Think it has caused my body to hold water. Weigh in in on Monday. See what happens.

Aunt Bee -

Ya, I can hardly believe it myself, though they say the last 20 lbs is the hardest of all to loose. I wonder why that is? Is it because it is so easy for ones ego to gloat and over indulge?

Don't think this will happen cause I am eating way differently than when I began. I can't even eat the way I used too, makes me sick just thinking about it.

The only two things I can not give up is lite cream in my coffee and butter on veggies and plain toast.

I have tried numorous brands of margarine and even decided to just cook with it but now, I don't even buy it for cooking with.

This week down one pound. To date since January 2004 I am down 35 lbs I am half way to my goal weight, today! An achievement I had my doubts about at first. Even it takes till next year to reach my goal weight...it will happen!
