SparkGuy is my new hero! What a humanitarian and a mover & shaker! He is also quite possibly a entrepreneurial genius. He has inspired me not only to lose weight but to find some way to be a spark-starter in other people's lives in general.

And the best part: Not only did I get the answer to my question, I got points for reading it ;-)
Glad to hear there is not some drug company or something behind Spark. Was kind of wondering if my food and exercise were being analyzed.

thanks for the link, Coach Jen. I've sort of been waiting for the other shoe to drop, you know? like one day I won't be able to log in unless I give you a bunch of money or something. Thank you SparkGuy!

| I'm not sure if this is an appropriate question, but I'll just ask. How is SparkPeople paid for? My membership is free and the site is wonderfully free of annoying ads and pop ups - so who is footing the bill? I have been really ejoying the site and hope it stays free to members!
