North Shore is a great sight seeing ride. My wife and I love Boston, New England, and the Cape.
In the summer we prefer the north shore - not as busy as south shore. Salem, West Manchester, Gloucester, Newburyport, Hampton, - we love it!
I fly out to Boston and Providence (actually, Dedham)from time to time on business - with National Amusements Theaters - Showcase and Multiplex Movie Theaters. We build their theaters in the Midwest. Sometimes I am able to take my wife along and spend a long weekend in beautiful New England!

| He lives in Henderson, NV. I don't like it there but he does. He had an absessed tooth while I was there and felt miserable but he kept working. He is adding about 2 time the square footage to his original house with a huge garage, a guest house, and extending the upstairs out over the new garage. They also tore out a lot of concrete around the swiming pool and replaced it. Then they are going to add a deck, a tiki hut and landscaping with yard lighting and I don't know what all. He is also going to put in a mister that will keep the patio, deck and whatever cooler in the high temps that theyhave there. They have also torn out walls in the house to enlarge rooms and make it more modern. Wow! It is a huge project and whenever he is not at "work" he is working at home. He tells me that's not true because he sleeps at night.

Thanks, Stella. Isn't it funny how you can feel so close to people you have never met? I am glad I am in the computer generation.
I am glad you got to visit your son. How is he doing? What city did he move to?

Hi Willows and everyone. Yes, I feel very close to Willows. I consider her one of my best friends even though I have never seen her in person. She recommended SP to me and here I am. We've been through a lot together. Haven't we Willows?

| I haven't met anyone, but feel that I know Stella. We were on another board for about 5 years and spoke almost daily. She is from Colorado and I am from Wisconsin.

I loved NYC, tho.
I'm a city kid at heart.
Yeah, I loved those old movies. Clark Gable, now there was a hunk!
I feel sorry for Brittney Spears and she definitely leans toward my shape-poor baby.

Hey - my buddies - Perm and Bonnie...
I joined in Feb. as well, but I live in New York and everybody else lives far, far away. I haven't met anyone, but, you know sometimes that's better. We can all imagine each other - imagine me as Lauren Bacall (in the old black and whites).

I'm new since March, I live close to several people that I correspond with on the site, so that is always a possibility. I still work and would have to do some major planning to do that kind of "vacation". Mine's usually taken up with going back East to see aging in-laws.
Sounds interesting tho.

| I read on another post elsewhere, where a group was getting together to meet in a central location. Have any of you over 50 Sparkers met? I'm fairly new here ,since February, and was wondering after I read that other post. Good luck on your journeys!!!
